I don't understand what all the griping is about, as far as I'm concerned, if I get anything then its better than it was before. I only pledged what I want (£500) but if I get £100 then its an improvement on the last couple of loans. My thoughts exactly. Perhaps some of the griping was a case of throwing the toy out of the pram because certain individuals were afraid that they wouldn’t get a large slice? No toys,no prams here. I ended up with 2.5 times the amount that I had in the old loan. But that is not the point; consistency and transparency are far more important to me than any grubby little proportion of a loan that I might have achieved. The very fact that I would have needed to put in £8K to achieve the £2K max says it all. Of course we'll never know what the outcome of the original £2K pledge max would have been but I bet it wouldn't have required anywhere near as much over-funding and the majority of investors would have got nearer to their hoped for amount. Anyway, I'm going down the pub

Not as annoyed as the boss.... he has to type in all of the withdrawals to the banking system so you have a big supporter in wanting a change I had £100 in my account, pledged it all for this and got £37. The minimum pledge was £100. Does this mean that if I want to get in on the next similar loan I will have to deposit another £37 to get back to the minimum pledge amount even though whatever I actually get on the loan could be fully covered by my current balance? Yes, with the present system we all have to have more money in our account than we'll receive as an allocation. unless of course the loan is subscribed 100% or less.

Just fyi, if I had capped bids at 2k (rather than allocations), lenders would have received around 15% more as their allocation. (Quick calculation).

I anticipate with some confidence your amended scheme for allocations on the next small/medium loan. Tomorrow???

Now that the nannies and nurses have wheeled away the perambulators the ground is littered with posh toys which no-one seems to be claiming. I shall gather them up for the Syrian refugees.

So did you get more than £740? Yes I got the maximum allocation of £2k. I would have gladly pledged 8K to get 2k So those of us that abided by the original procedure have been penalized with less of the loan and those that played the system have got far more

Just do it and ignore the moaning, you’ll never please everyone. True, but much of the disbelief / displeasure / cynicism expressed here was avoidable. You'll not frustrate so many if you communicate your intentions more clearly, together with providing a better explanation of any allocation process and why you consider it to be 'fair'.

It was changed shortly before it went live and then no one was quite sure what it had been changed too (it didn't finally become clear until the loan was divided and over)

Judging by most of the comments on here so did other people.

I see there is about £2k on the SM at 104% giving an AER of just over 6% - someone's hoping to make a fast buck

Actually, the comments on here show that it WASN'T clear as the question for clarification was asked multiple times - I don't know which thread your reading!
