In view of all the problems other banks have been having due to computer problems over the past few months I am very suprissed to read all the remarks some people have been writting, and I would have thought it would be sensibly for people to plan and allow for delays in payments being made. OK RS did not do themselves any favours by not making some statement earlier in the morning but hi-ho thats life.

Had no payments on the 5 yr for the last hour, so they've either turned the batch run off and gone home, or it's fallen over again.
Strewth, I've just had one! 17 to go.

My 5 year repayment still hasnt processed.
And this is why I made the point about spare capacity - we are now cutting it very close to the time where the next days batch is due to start, and the last days batch still hasn't finished.
This isn't a hysterical reaction, this is a simple observation of what appears to be a pretty clear operational risk

That's just over 2 hours to get to 50%. Extrapolating that suggests @eurasian69's concerns are entirely valid. One batch run finishes and the next day's run starts straight away, quite possibly slightly late. As a one-time risk assessor for IT projects, my technology worry beads are clacking. As an investor it looks highly unlikely that 100% of the money I'd anticipated transferring to Santander today will be available in time. A real loss, albeit tiny, in monetary terms.

00.02 Tuesday. Monday's batch run is still running: appears 90% complete, so about 10% of the money I'd intended to transfer out has missed the cutoff and will be 24 hours late hitting my current account.
00.45 Tuesday. Monday's processing still not complete, but too late to peruse further. Time for bed (said Zebedee via Jasper Carrott).

Well glad to see all Monday's and this morning's repayments have been paid out. Please make this a one off problem...

I have checked my repayments this morning and found that every loan except one appears to have been processed, but the amounts credited for some loan appear to differ from the schedule. Specifically the capital amounts credited are correct but the interest amounts are under.
This has occurred for payments on both 01 Feb and 02 Feb.
So in summary seemingly both a missing payment and underpaid interest for a small number of loans - I will call Ratesetter this morning to verify if this is an error on their part or a misunderstanding on my part.

Well if a 12 or so hour delay to the repayment run generates this much comment, woe betide a resolution event.

Is anyone else having this problem today. My 3 year repayments have gone in, but no 5 year yet today. They can't use the excuse that the 1st of the month was a Monday this month. ?

The 5yr repayment run is still in progress. Your instructions will be carried out when it has finished. If I am about I often manually invest the incoming repayments into whatever market I want and that jumps the Q for when RS apply reinvestment instructions. Often happens on 1st of the month.
