Sorry Ed I see the word ' finished ' in spyrogyra's post. In fairness I'm only on my third cup of coffee. I'll limit my posts to afternoon in future

Thank you Ed. Certainly the information provided is reassuring and probably best to be employed for future loans.

Yes, there are either a lot of fast fingers, or some hungry bots. The opinion expressed that there might still be some around until 16:01 tomorrow might turn out to be unreasonably optimistic, although perhaps Ed knows better than us (since he set the limit at £4k, rather than anything smaller). I do suspect there is a correlation between speed of fingers/bots and the size of the bids though (people wanting £4k and up are more likely to be tooled up for rapid action).

...or it could just be the Sunday factor? Perhaps more people at home who are able to access the site at exactly 4pm?

Maybe .. in which case we better put them back to Monday!
p.s. Ed-thing .. thanks for catching the latest FP transfer in, in a new record (for me) time of 53 seconds (from hitting 'pay' on my banking screen, to bidding on the MT site).

Ed, off this topic a bit, is BPF373/383 scheduled to payout on time or renew?

Superb MoneyThing ! Which other platform offers that kind of service at ANY time, let alone on a Sunday afternoon? MoneyThing is surely the P2P gold standard for deposits and withdrawals, as well as investor interaction.

Haven't been this excited on a Sunday afternoon since the first days of my marriage 40+ years ago. Unfortunately, the marriage didn't last, let's hope MT does!

... 1. Sunday launch proved popular ... Quite right - Sunday lunch always proves popular in my household; so much so I missed the fact there was action going down in the land of the Things. Thankfully there was still some crumbs left on the table by the time I woke up and shot into action.
