Hi - just checking, has anyone had a "free pass" recently? or is everyone getting pictures every time now?
Also, are they getting harder? I had one earlier where there were 4 correct answers (trees I think)
thanks

welcome Spartacus,
but who is a*****a ? looks like they've picked up over £200k today - they must be something to do with SS, because I haven't seen any £10k+ sales go through, but the investor activity logs say otherwise

Did anyone see all the PBL074 parts go through just gone 9.00 (more than a page of investor activity)
£300s, £200s and £100s
Given that everyone except one person initially got no more than £300, I'm assuming that this must be SS selling those not paid for (11 days after going live)

Hi GSV3MIaC,
Yes please - on a "quiet" day like today, how much really got sold and when. In particular, what really goes on on night - and should I stay off the G&Ts tonight and give it a go?
Not sure how long Dove has been doing this, but very happy to trawl through a couple of days .xls if you have it.
thanks awk

Thanks everyone - that makes me feel slightly better, although I could do with a home for some money I've just had arrive so let's hope there's a new loan soon.

I switched auto-refresh off today (as per GSV3MIa comments yesterday about not needing it).
However, I'm not seeing much come up. So, is it that I'm missing it or is there just very little coming up?
Going through "investor activity" for each loan, it doesn't look like much has happened today, but wondered if anyone kept a proper log with time stamps? maybe something useful that one of those redundant bots could do?
PS I was going to stay up late last night, but fell asleep before midnight ! Anyone selling parts in the early hours is clearly discriminating against me on the basis of age !

They've just put a tick box up on purchases to say that you aren't a robot - but I still didn't get it!

I believe that SS have made some good progress on both the new website functionality and pre-funding mechanism and that they have listened to and taken onboard many of the ideas generated by forum members. Other threads will continue to generate ideas in these areas (including the bots).
The area which is preventing me from being where I want to be with SS is effective, reliable and appropriate communications, so I thought I'd start a new thread to get feedback and hopefully some changes by SS.
We will all have different needs, but my specific goal is to stop loging-on many times a day just to see if anything has changed. What I need are some specific event driven communications alerting me to log-on (which other P2P sites do very well).
Given the different needs of investors, it may be that we each opt in or out by type?
SS also need to decide what they are doing with SMS (it's dried up) - personally email is best for me.
My initial list would be:
- "a new loan has been added or significantly amended on the pipeline"
- "a new document has been published on the pipeline"
- "we are hoping to put PBLxxx live tomorrow/this afternoon etc"
- "PBLxxx has just gone live"
- "updates (extensions, repayments, lender gone awol) on loans I have"
- "ditto, on loans which I don't have"
And finally, it would be good to have a regular weekly update summarising all of the above. Personally, I'd rather get a regular update without much to say than the current adhoc approach
Is this a common gripe, or is it just me?

If you think the bots are bad now when all they can do Hoover up to their funding limit ....
.... then what do you think the world of discounts/premiums would be like if there was trading profits to be made?
Hoover @12% and sell at @10%, 9%, 8% to mere manual buyers?
I agree that something needs doing throttles/limit ?? But not discounts/premiums

Bringing us back on topic, I'm a bit confused.
Having read the Durham report, I think it's a valuation as of today - i.e. without any additional planning permission. So, I'm assuming that if the loan went belly up we might expect to get somewhere close to the valuation back?
Or have I missed something (been buying parts since 6.00 this morning and got bot scars on my fingers)

Thanks sl75,
I was expecting to see it under the repayments tab - or is that too obvious / useful
% recovered is all I'm after, so I'll have to download the loan book

Hi, I've just received my first ever recovery (9174). It's only a couple of quid, but makes me feel (a little) better Is there any way of tracking how much I've recovered against a given part or loan - I cant see it anywhere? .. or do I have to start yet another spreadsheet? Thanks awk
