Yep, I've looked down the back of the sofa and in some trouser pockets and found a few more pennies to invest

Nice to see some really useful updates being made to the site.
I have two requests for the Export to Excel function for my statement. Firstly, as someone else has said, the dates are exported as text rather than dates, which is fairly easily resolved, but messes up my pivot table every time when I forget!
Secondly, I would find it really useful to have an extra column for the type of transaction for each line of the statement. At the moment, I have to do this manually, which is tedious. If each line was identified as Deposit, Withdrawal, Purchase, Sale, Repayment or Interest, then it would make it much quicker for me to organize my accounts. I can't be alone in this, can I???

I'm in the same position, needing to sell some of my 88 pre-fund. It is now top of the queue and has just started being taken, so hopefully I'll be okay. But, I think it's telling that SS haven't yet sent me an email asking me to clear my negative balance. I guess they haven't sent them out yet because of the technical difficulties and will allow a little more leeway than usual.

Unfortunately, I don't have lots of money currently looking for a P2P home. Gone are the days when I first started of investing in everything that launched. I have had my fingers burned with the FS SM, as a loan I had purchased unexpectedly repaid early and I lost money. As others have stated, the SM and lack of monthly interest puts me off FS, so I now invest in SS when I can. It's a pity FS haven't responded to the discussion here of the major failings of the platform, as I would happily invest considerably more, if it was fixed.

Another vote for all interest to be paid on the same day of the month. If nothing else, it keeps my spreadsheet tidy!

This has prompted me to have a look at my book. I find that I'm invested in 45 separate loans, all with a minimum of 56 days remaining. I sold out of some shorter time remaining loans this morning to fund other purchases. I have a maximum 'per loan' that I am willing to invest. I'm happy with my spread, except that I am over-invested with a couple of borrowers where they have multiple loans. As new loans are launched, I will sell these down to my maximum. I started investing in SS on 30th September last year, so it is certainly possible to build a diversified holding over the space of a few months.

C'Mon guys, this is just my part time out of hours job! But I've nudged IT, I'm sure they'll hop right to it... Kevin. westonkevRS, whilst you're nudging IT, I have a minor bug to report. If I am using a touchscreen device to access the site (both my Android phone and my Windows 10 tablet computer exhibit the problem), on the 'Your Portfolio' page, I cannot select the 'By Date' radio button. Nor can I change the state of the product check boxes. It works fine using a mouse.

Yes provided it goes to some "lucky bo y" - I don't care about the gender but I do care about the last letter in that description. I did not get this one. Try replacing the 'y' with a 't'

I do kind of agree. Having lost money on the SM (loan repaid months early so I didn't recoup the slight premium I'd paid), I won't be buying anything again. My only use for it is to list most of my loans for a premium and hope they sell for a profit. If they don't, then I'm happy to hold them as I would have done anyway. Not exactly how I would like to be using an SM.

Ilmoro maintains a pinned thread on the SS board: p2pindependentforum.com/thread/2635/savingstream-list-loan-updates This has all the updates from SS on all of the loans in one place. The loans with negative days left have over-run, but the updates indicate whether the borrower is trying to refinance, selling the asset, wants to extend, etc.

Has anyone sold any yet? Or is any sales stuck behind the £1.6m availability? I sold a £2k part (bought in error when I gave up on the spinny thing and clicked to buy again) and it went pretty quickly. I realised that I had done the same. I was trying to purchase £500 and ended up with £3000. Oops!

True could be pretty nasty if you got one that had gone half way through the loan so you had to pay the interest up to then and then they repaid the loan the next day could end up losing quite a bit I've just been caught out like that As a non-tax-payer, I wasn't worried about paying a slight premium for a loan with some time left to run. I was happy with the indicated AER, so went ahead and purchased. I'd only accrued interest for a few days when it repaid early and I lost money. Fortunately, I am only using small sums in FS compared to other platforms, but that's not the point. fundingsecure, why couldn't you have implemented a Secondary Market like Saving Stream or Money Thing? With all the feedback you've been given here, it is disappointing that you have neither made big improvements nor justified why you consider your way better. As other forumites have said, it is a waste of time (and in this case, money as well) purchasing on the SM with the current set-up. Very disappointing.

MoneyThing When a loan repays, would it be possible for my account statement to show the capital repayment and interest payment as two separate items, please? At the moment, I have to manually separate them in my spreadsheet to keep track of the interest payments. Many thanks in advance!

Yes, in the same way as MT and Abl offer managed 'baskets' of small loans as a single investment. It would make sense for FS to do similar if they have the flow of smaller loans to make it work.
