It does seem to be a bit of a beta test although they did say they had already tested it with others before so those testers must have been pretty useless. I am sure a lot of the other sites when were new had similar issues so will wait and see

The fact is that RICS valuers are successfully sued in negligence. Of course, nothing is without risk and the lender must ensure that the their instructions to the valuer are correct and that the report properly satisfied their requirements. The lender must also ensure by sound qualified evidence that the property was correctly sold at a lower value. some of the valuations might be a little on the generous side but I doubt they are significantly wrong and it would be a long drown out process that would probably cost more then what the valuation was wrong for, SS made it sounded like if in case of loss they would just sue the valuer and problem solved we all go home happy

Watch 2mins+ on the video. "If The valuer gets it wrong, Savingstream has recourse to recover any shortfalls in a rogue valuation" No talk of negligent in that statement. What is rogue? I would say a piece of land with OPP that was valued at £1m, but only had offers at £500k after 6 months, that the original valuation was rogue. basically if it turns out the person that did the valuation did not actualy have the required qualificaiton or deliberitly mislead for what ever reason if they get it wrong as who to say it wrong market conditions would have changed.

Personally I thought it was pretty poor and looked a bit shabby, and did not give a very good impression of SS at all. Nowhere was risk really mentioned and when it was the so called investers made it sound like it was not an issue and everything would always be rosey as SS are wonderful, yes I agree they have never lost a penny and at the moment I would not expect them to lose much as prices are going up not down, but will this be the same in 6 months to 2 years?
Plus it seemed pretty pointless pushing for investors as I can't believe the BHs are currently getting what they want unless SS are being underhand with the allocations they would have been better trying to find new investments.
Also with all them staff sat around twidling there thumbs am I sure they can get some to regualrly post on this forum as a) a lot of there members are on here b) a lot of what is noted on here by members is useful to them.

probably the amount lately SS has had times when it has found it hard to fund loans and I think latley FS has probably issued more cumilatively loans lately then they have

I think the broadoak ones to be fair are generally a better offering then SS so I am happy to accept a 1 or 2% less for them. Broadoak and MT aslo keep us up to date and do not randemly make up length of time for loan and then change it.

I would have thought PM would have been better buying them like PP does then they do not need to pay out the interest on the balance hold and will probably get people to invest a bit quicker even at the moment some start slow and then speed up pretty quick towards the end, the interest is nice but I guess a lot of people rather leave it elsewhere then move it accross when nearly full

I quite like the site but think it could have done with a bit more beta testing or invited a few forum users to beta test it. They seem to have selected some of the better ideas from other platforms so will wait to see how it goes.
