Better not tell him anything about MoneyThing then. There's £400k availability in a very SS-like loan there at the moment Just tried a bit of that myself....

I might want to lighten my position on 65, but I'm underweight on all the others. Big thanks to Mike for last night's little bit of co-operative SM selling/buying. I'm good on 65 now... Is this like insider dealing? Market manipulation? Libor rate fixing? PPI miss-selling? No? Nevermind, good result and well played!

Nearly £1M of various loans (but still none of the ones I am missing ) currently on the SM. Be interesting to see how long this overhang takes to clear, and I wonder whether SS have more of 85 held back.......

Don't think that is possible I'm afraid. People have expressed as wish for that functionality before.....

I'm diversifying like crazy, picking up "rare" loan parts. But why is nobody buying my parts for sale? Heh? Where are all the complainers who moaned they can't invest, diversify or beat FFF and bots? I'm kind of fully invested in SS atm with some deficit in the account. If my parts won't shift I'll have transfer some more cash. So no problem here. I think the days of gaming the pre-funding are coming to a close. Also the INPL will loose its attractiveness if one can't instantly dump parts on SM to clear the balance. It has been clear for a while now that the SM liquidity is easing off, and ISTM that the INPL will only loose attractiveness to those who are tempted to over reach themselves.....other than in that circumstance it still works brilliantly IMHO

With 2 of the 3 loans which we have been advised will be going live tomorrow still showing as being at stage 1 in the pipeline loan page, I do wonder whether this theoretically helpful view into the pipeline actually has any value as it is currently being used by SS.

Surely you can effectively cancel a sale order if it hasn't sold by buying the same amount back. The two transactions will then cancel each other out.... That's fine if your loan part is the only loan part on the SM. But if there is a lump sum your amount goes to the back of the queue, so if you invest the same amount your buying somebody else's loan part at the beginning of the queue, which means you double your investment (until your original loan part on the SM sells) Oh yes, of course you are right, and if the prior amount doesn't sell you might have to cough up again! Thanks for correcting my silly mistake...

They would be two genuinely useful features to request. Visible queue and ability to cancel. Surely you can effectively cancel a sale order if it hasn't sold by buying the same amount back. The two transactions will then cancel each other out....

Ok Thanks SAFCG, My main thrust was "What is the plan for this week?" As it was looking quite positive, I had scraped a few shekels out of deep hiding in readiness and in this case involved closing another account but I wonder if I needed to yet. LW Well, there should be plenty of morsels on the SM for you to keep those few shekels earing interest just now...

There is now £487,947 of PBL084 left... Someone's been abusing abusing the credit facility, ban them. You don't know that....

A lot of secondary market activity today, especially in the older loans.
I have noticed many large chunks of PBL084 being sold. Some as large as £20,000...
May be it is Saving Stream doing a clear out from accounts that have unpaid, before distributing the interest? £81k of the Scottish estate up for grabs now if anyone wants to spend their pocket money...
