Surprised there are no residual amounts for any of these loans available on the SM. Can they have been able to successfully allocate the whole lot???

I've just submitted a request for an explanation of this week's tranche release via the loan's Q&A option. I'll let everyone know if I get a reply. Thanks. I'd suggest maybe send the same request via email as well.

Hot off the RS newsfeed.....no news!!!
We are writing to keep you updated on the RateSetter ISA. As you may know, in order to offer an Innovative Finance ISA platforms must first obtain full authorisation from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). All the major marketplace lending platforms, including RateSetter, are awaiting authorisation.
This is a significant operation for the FCA and we are in regular communication with them. At this stage we do not have a date for when the RateSetter ISA will be available but will let you know as soon as possible.

Only about 500k on the SM now. Seems to be going down pretty quickly, wonder how long it will be before we see 'All loans are fully funded'...... Could possibly be tomorrow? Down to ca £300k now....

Has anyone seen this ? "We know the ISA is important to you – many of you have told us that – and so we want to keep you updated on progress. We will let you know as soon as it is available and will keep you updated throughout. We will also be making sure that the transfer process is simple so that you will be able to move across money both from your other ISAs (Cash and / or Stocks & Shares) and from your current RateSetter account to your new RateSetter ISA." That was taken from Ratesetters latest communications with it's customers. So we won't have to take out our interest, currently around 6% on the 5 year market and put it into a cash ISA paying a fraction of that in order to take advantage of the P2P ISAs when they do materialise. I would imagine SS will offer the same,no ? Who knows. It would be great if HMRC allow this, and if they do and SS do offer this facility, then you shouldn't have to sell down and buy back for the 2016/17 tax year, but if you haven't taken out a 2015/16 ISA and want to be able to get that £15,240 into a tax free wrapper as well then you will have to do that ( take out our interest, currently around 6% on the 5 year market and put it into a cash ISA paying a fraction) - and do it soon!!!!

Rather disappointing that there is no indication of likely timescale at all.
However this sounds promising "We will also be making sure that the transfer process is simple so that you will be able to move across money both from your other ISAs (Cash and / or Stocks & Shares) and from your current RateSetter account to your new RateSetter ISA." Putting already owned shares into an ISA alsways involved selling them and re-buying, which was very unappealing (2 lots of transaction costs, stamp duty plus the loss on the spread), so if we could simply and without cost move money from exisiting loans into the ISA wrapper that would be great. If it just means you can put money sitting unallocated on the market into the IFISA.....not so much!!!

So just to confirm... Someone who has no ISA's can open a stocks and shares ISA on 4th April 2016... Put 15k in it then withdraw it on April 6th 2016 and then are they allow to put 30k in and transfer it into in IF ISA? You won't be able to withdraw it directly, but you will be able to transfer it provided the provider of the IFISA accepts transfers (which I am sure they will)... just make sure the one you invest in in the current tax year allows penalty free transfers...

Interesting little period. Not only is there approx £1.4million currently available on the SM I've just seen that MT have around £600k available. Yep, I've dipped a toe into MT. Good diversification opportunity...

Possibly. But based on past performance, and with a number of repayments due at some stage, and £1M in interest payments due within a couple of weeks, I'm fairly confident it will all be gone in good time. This actually feels like a pretty good balance of supply and demand to me at the moment. If people even have just a few days leeway to cash in some investments, they should be able to do so, and this is balanced with a fair choice of things available on the SM making it easy for new investors to get a reasonably diverse portfolio of holdings pretty much from the get go. Certainly much easier than 6 months ago...

87/88, Watford, too. And the notification email's just arrived. Anybody would think they were waiting for the SM to go Suspiciously Silent. That would surely be a sensible thing to do....as would staggering the launch dates!!

And PBL #s for the Wolsey Bus Park Watford loans. That's over £9M launching on Friday? The biggest day to date? The tiddler will be vastly over-subscribed. The other two probably no so much!!

Hi all I'm a new investor with MT, and have taken my first bite with this loan. Looks pretty attractive to me, but seems to be filling quite slowly. Is that what you more experienced MT investors expected? thanks
