We know that SS keep a loose eye on this board, and use it to keep us informed on progress and events as and when they feel it appropriate, and that is appreciated. They also consider requests for changes, but understandably don't implement them all! We also know that they have been considering changes to the pre-funding mechanism.
What we don't know is what percentage of SS account holders are members or even more interesting active members of this forum, nor what our combined investments account for in the SS loan book. Nor how many SS account holders are active vs dormant, nor how the active members investments look on a distribution curve. Nor.....nor.....nor.....Of course, SS do know these things, but I do wonder if SS might benefit from a survey of their account holders (rather than just members of this board) to get a more inclusive and complete picture of their lenders, their lenders' aspirations for the platform, reasons for choosing the SS platform over other platforms, likes and dislikes, requests and suggestions. Of course not everyone will respond, and of those that do not all will be entirely open, but that does not negate the benefit of seeking a widespread interaction with lenders.

PBL078 also allocated now. . Only £1131 of a £5000 request. You'll just have to top up with stuff on the SM. A bit of the yacht take your fancy???

I just sold my PBL025 holding too. Went in a flash, and looking at the recent buying activity on this one, and of the last 10 purchases, 7 were made by cxxxxxxxxxxxxxe
Is this the latest fast fingered game player?? Or has someone else re-branded??

Click on Available Loans. That is the secondary market. Nothing on it now unless you are very lucky and quick, but when the next big loans launch reportedly next week there should be things available.....good luck.

I agree too. Yes, SS is a very popular platform for those of us fortunate to have spotted it and got in to whatever extent we have been able. That popularity is going to continue and grow. We want them to be successful and if they are we will share in the upside. If they haven't already, then in due course they are likely to implement a more formal process into their IT development with a means of evaluating change requests (of which a few are regularly mooted on this forum), and a release plan. If we are fortunate they might share this release plan with us. To date they have done what they can to respond to people's wishes and concerns, but now we need to give them space to get on with priorities 1, 2 and 3. Bring more high quality loans onto the platform. Bring more high quality loans onto the platform. Bring more high quality loans onto the platform.

Ah, but what if we increased the field and made it an estate agent, a solicitor, an accountant, a banker and a politician???

Is anyone else getting a little scared by the size of the pipeline? Bet they all start going live in about 2 weeks time, just when I'll be less able to move money around....and I rather suspect it may get quite a bit easier to buy on the SM for a while Not scared, as I don't anticipate needing to liquidate any holdings short term, but it is rather dramatic! I do wonder how easy it will be to fill £30M of loans if they really do release that amount in the coming month as indicated in the latest update from them. Is there that much pent up demand, even with a few of the older smaller ones due to be paying back in the same timeframe?? Who knows. Easier to buy on the SM, definitely. As easy to sell, definitely not.....

Probably in the last hour of January business with no update or new loan launching. Pity. A new loan would have taken a bit of pressure off the whole system.....here's hoping for sooner rather than later in February - still agreeing that we want good loans rather than fast loans!!
