IFISA

The recent repayments have virtually wiped out my ISA holdings and I am thinking about liquidating the balance and transferring elsewhere. Any others feeling the same? Where to transfer to though? FC would certainly be a lot easier. Any thoughts? SophieThing recent pipeline updates don't sound all that encouraging. More property....maybe. Anything else on the horizon to encourage me to stick it out a while longer?

I would like to know the results of the vote please Lendy Support ie the percentage of votes cast for option one and option two. The email received makes no mention of the actual result.......

IFISA

Sadly the MT IFISA doesn't seem to be working out for me, as there is nothing to invest in other than things I am already at my limit in or don't want. Unless something changes dramatically there is no way I am likely to get fully invested this year:( Other than is reported in the regular pipeline updates, is there anything different on the horizon SophieThing?

Me too! And with no new loans to invest in any repaid money will have to go elsewhere MoneyThing....

Loan REPAID in FULL... This additional cash flow will hopefully help the secondary market! 32% LTV and over 200 days to run. Now fully repaid. Not my idea of a great result....

The Castle was valued at 4.9m but sold for 1.5m. This was a PBL not a DFL so it goes to show that you should never trust these so called RICS “experts”. As the OP mentioned we never seem to see properties undervalued they always turn out to be wildly overvalued. The typical scenario we see time and time again is money lent against a wild overvaluation, loan defaults, a second valuation is commissioned and LY posts an update that says the 2nd valuation is “significantly” less than the money we lent. LY, here’s a suggestion, why not get the guy who did the 2nd valuation to do the 1st valuation? The takeaway is in p2p you can trust nothing and no one, it’s a giant den of iniquity. Why not get more than one valuation, more than 2 when significant sums are involved. And make absolutely sure each valuer doesn't know who the others are to ensure you cosy collusion!!

It has been suspended but is still showing under "Live Loans". Shouldn't it have been moved into "Non-Performing" as it can no longer be bought or sold? Paul64 Lendy Support please comment.

Does the "new" loan for the outstanding balance exist anywhere yet? Surely it should still be under default loans, but it isn't there now / yet.....?

I have a look at the secondary market most days SophieThing, but it's just the same old same old, and I'm not tempted to put more into any of those. I have been bitten by some of your defaulted loans and am likely to be only putting smaller amounts into a wider spread of loans going forward, and if those don't exist......

Has the pipeline completely dried up? No way to fund an IFISA in this environment. Anything on the horizon SophieThing??

Well done on getting the IFISA launched. It looks good and I hope it clears some of the SM backlog. Being able to transfer money from a non-isa to isa account is a handy feature, and I'm sure it will help you avoid a deluge of bank withdrawals and deposits. May I suggest that on the IFISA -> Move Funds -> Move Funds In page you show the remaining IFISA limit? I know this is shown on the bank deposit page but it would be useful here as well. Obviously it's not the highest priority, but when things have settled down SophieThing How do you tx cash from your MT non-ISA account to your ISA account? I can't see how you do that, and it wasn't indicated in their welcome to your MT IFISA email which said essentially that you have to deposit new money or tx from an existing non-MT ISA.... Thanks

SophieThing .. I applaud decision to re-engage more with the forum. Platform comms tends to be very formal/batch orientated, compared to the rapid to/fro which can be achieved here (although sometimes, as we all know, it doth get a bit out of hand). Platform updates are still useful for 'formal documentation' mayhap, but logging in to read it is rather a pain and I only tend to do it when someone here tells me there is a new update to read. p.s. and I'd second the comment that I like 'anything but property', on the assumption (maybe wrong) that not all asset bubbles will pop at the same time. Right now you have more property-problem-children than cars, boats, planes, or whatever. Lots more. And I have lots of property exposure already (I live in some). I third it, and I'm positive many others feel likewise!
