Yes, and I'm not critising, just seemed something more going on than random events

I wonder how many investors were regularly 'guilty' of investing without funds, then selling immediately the next day to collar the 'free' interest. The email said some investors. I wonder if it was closer to most investors. not me, i always pay up straight away, or sell something else immediately.

Who's putting all these 1p shares on the SM? I have been selling 1p and other small parts. When buying on the SM, some times if £37.51 is up for sale and someone types in 37.50 then I was right behind them and keyed in 37.51 they got in first and took the 37.50 and I ended up with the 1p. So I have decided to clean up my holdings and sell the 1p. are you suggesting that that has happened 27 times, just to you?

why be lucky? isn't that what the 70% LTV is all about? to avoid "luck" Ahh, so our capital is not at risk then? That's brilliant!!! yep, that's my (rather naive) understanding of the reason to have a LTV specified, isnt it?

So you don't think the PF will payout then? Nope, just picked a number at random (it's how I always choose my investments) ;-)

yep, this captcha thing is really frustrating! like, how can you tell whether a stretch of water is a river or a bit of a lake? it's almost impossible to make a winning bid on the SM if some people aren't getting the same hindrance.
And are people really picking up the £0.01 loan parts? I assumed SS were collecting them all together and releasing them when they reach a reasonable value or adding them to larger part loans?

I've just been reading something on the SS site which suggests I can elect to take the whole loan's interest payments at the start of the loan rather than at the end of each month. Is that right? "If you need access to the money you have lent out before a borrower is due to pay it back, you can use our 'Secondary Market' functionality to sell your loan part capital to other investors. Once purchased this capital is then credited back to your Saving Stream account. The 'Secondary Market' facility is not available if an investor chooses to receive the full loan term's interest upfront when investing in a loan." I think maybe that was just with some of the earliest loans Maybe SS should remove it then, it's not hidden away in some small print somewhere, it's on the main "Investor's Risk Statement" linked on the homepage.

I have had the same. It usually takes 24 hours for SS to recognise that the money's in their account. Don't sweat it.
