FT says it's 12 million. "Metro Bank has agreed to buy peer-to-peer lender RateSetter in a £12m deal to boost the challenger bank’s turnround efforts by expanding into more profitable areas of consumer lending.
The bank, which opened its first branch 10 years ago last week, said on Monday it would pay £2.5m up front and a further £9.5m over the three years following completion, subject to undisclosed performance criteria...."

Seems to have strayed a tad from 'Current processing times for investment releases (RS)'......! Must be the stresses of Lockdown?
Nothing wrong with Anglia Ruskin University........
I got a first class Hons BA there as a mature student in 1998. (Education)

"Despite RS saying that if you edit your RYI, the original place will be retained in the queue, their new display does not seem to have been informed......it shows the NEW queue number post edit, NOT the original queue number ( and position)....??"
"RateSetter Representative of RateSetter ***** 18 hours ago
Hi ruralres66, thank you for your message. When you edit an release request it is automatically given a new reference number but it should also automatically retain the original request's position in the queue for that market. If you would like us to confirm whether the amended request has remained in its original position in the queue, please contact us at invest@ratesetter.com
or 020 3142 6226 - open weekdays 8am to 6pm, and we can take you through our security checks and look into your account. Thank you."
Still suggest the edit has placed RYI further out from original queue position according to the number of RYI now before mine.

Added these from my isa account( 1 year and 5 yr) but utterly misleading as the bottom 2 are more forward in the queue than ref number suggests as they were 'edited' on 6th June.... But I am told by RS retain original place in the queue- how they work that is a mystery! All done end of March beginning of April.....
Has anyone here had an original queue number released despite the new higher ref number being incremented due to an edit if withdrawal?

I thought the PF was in a ring fenced independent fund- Barclays? therefore not 'owned' by RS?

Can RateSetter confirm please that edited requests will indeed remain in the same position, as stated on the site? I edited a withdrawal request amount, which said "Your edited request will retain the same position in the queue" - however the date shown on the site changed to the date of the edit, as well as the number now being far higher. a fair question, but you're asking it in the wrong place. Much better to make direct contact, then you'll get an answer that you can (hopefully) rely on. Just received from private message RS rep
Hi ruralres66.
Amended requests do not affect queue position. Requests retain their original position in the queue, but a new reference number is generated and the date of the request becomes the date the amendment was made. Thank you.

ceejay My wife and I have 7 1 year loans between us. Like you, one is in default. The explanation I got from RS was poor as to why it hadn’t paid out from the PF. Basically, they said it hadn’t actually defaulted!! They also suggested that the same borrower had previously defaulted on another loan. They didn’t respond when I asked why they’d granted another loan. Fortunately 6 of our loans are due to mature by 1 September, including the ‘defaulted’ one. The last one is February next year. Created a new thread on this but decided to post here as well. This morning I did my daily due diligence check of RYI progess (or not) for my 1 year and 5 year RYI remaining loans. The page displaying my 12 1 year loans of about 20k only showed 2 loans amounting to less than 1k? Any body else having this problem? Additionally after some backwards and forwards on the very helpful but unreliable RS web buttons one RYI loan displayed as being issued as a 'new' contract on the 21st May! Well I did not lend on that day....... I does show maturity soon 23rd July so I hope that will be it for RS save a £10 float.... Rang RS...... an explanation was offered but was I filled with confidence and goodwill ?.......!!! No.

Done that, repeatedly phoned and communicated via private message to RS rep here..... I have every sympathy for the refusal to answer but still feel we are in sinking ship mode.....
