Not more property! While I would probably put a little in I am looking from a move away, which is why I find gold interesting.

The nice thing about 1% steps is it avoids the final rush of 0.1% undercutting as at FC. I got a couple of emails during the day adjusted my bid and did not have to waste time just before 21:00. Thanks to the big bidders who made their entry early yesterday and then did not return.

I would prefer you spent your time getting more loans than writing any limits.

Can we please have a live transaction log for activities on this site. The monthly summary does not do the job. Not knowing when I transferred money in / made a loan / received interest is severely hampering my activities on this site. Most other p2p sites supply this information. Matthew are you planning to do this?

Wellesley are not doing transfers from their existing p2p into the ISA. Which means I would have to use the Early Redemption Scheme, however for me the fees would wipe out the first years tax savings. I'm also guessing that the fees cannot be used to reduce my tax due on interest. Hope they do it again next year, when I can plan things a bit better.

I have just joined and like the site, I have a couple of suggestions for MoneyThing to look at: 1) Show loan number with titles, you already have some duplicates and lots are similar. 2) In the loans list mark the ones I have invested in somehow.

I am utterly baffled by the GEIA. I parked some money there on 4 Feb, with a view to taking it out again when one of the upcoming loans draws down. All but a tiny amount got invested PDQ. So far so good. A couple of days ago I set it to withdraw repayments and interest, at which point it started to SELL my investments for NO reason. My funds actually invested and earning were £1,700, and are now down to £1,281.89. And because sales are not repayments, the money is just sitting there doing nothing. I will now turn off "withdraw repayments and interest" and see if it reinvests my funds... Where did you get the idea that GEIA was a cash account? Its a long term investment and depends on other lenders being available to buy your investments so you can exit early. A software change was made earlier this year to unstick some investments which did not appear as available to other, but other that that you have to wait for the randomiser to select your investments for a willing lender when there is a large queue.

My excess investment (£22) in Falmouth on my MLIA has now been sold, it was obtained during an incident with repayments in November(?). My £102 GEIA experimental investment made in December has now been half repaid, hope to see the other half sold soon. Thank you Chris for cleaning these details.

Added £2k5 Monday evening to 3 year market, all allocated today, hope they complete tomorrow. Note that they did 6 loans on Monday. Pity there is no queue length stats available at lease there is some movement. Earlier in the year I found there were daily bites on 3 year and weekly bites on 5 year. Hope it grows as planned and they become braver with the information they publish.
