If any more is needed I will chip in, or do it now. I was unclear how to deal with it. Are details where to donate easy to find, or can they be entered on this thread. Not into Facebook. Facebook banned me years ago, for posting information telling people their rights as men and women and how to avoid being classed as a legal entity. (FB in bed with big brother of course). As I am not privy to the Facebook info, I would appreciate if any relevant information posted there could find its way here. I will then be aware if more money is needed and will gladly contribute. For us, extra time and effort is bad.
For them, extra time and effort is good, because the creditors' committee agreed to pay them by the hour rather than by results. (It may well still be the case that the results-based charge would have been even higher though, making the time-based charge better choice of two bad options...)
I can see where you are coming from but I think it is unfair for people to always automatically assume that anyone who is paid by the hour will try and drag things out with unnecessary work. A lot of people do have some integrity (not to mention professional standards and regulations to upheld) and from what I can see these guys are highly regarded with a good reputation. Hi bg Where can I find the 'thumbs down' button?

I have decided that the only reason I have been asked for verification is because I used 2 bank accounts. One in my name and the other a joint account. Maybe worth a poll? Hmmmm, I've been asked for verification yet my situation couldn't be more simple: Source and target bank account was the same single one, a personal/domestic one at that. Lived at same home address for just shy of 20 years, where account is registered to. HOWEVER... bank account was also a joint account.... I wonder if that's the missing link. Could be, as my wife and I both have an account with Lendyand use a joint bank account.

Yes, same bank account. I can think of absolutely no reason why she should have failed. Could be they're actually being sensible and realised they only needed to check one of you, not both? Definitely not being sensible. I and my wife also have a joint bank account, but both require 'verification'. I thought it may be because we have moved in the last year, but reading these posts there does not appear to be a common thread. Jobs for mates fits though.

Hi paul123
My browser is Maxthon
When I type in 'lendy.co.uk/my-loans.csv' it takes me to Lendy login and then opens the spreadsheet in Word, which has most of the functions disabled so I still cannot do much with it.

Hi
Has anyone found a way to download the 'Lendy loan parts' from the site using Open Office, or how to convert the Excel sheet to Open Office please?

Does anyone know how to do this in Open Office please? Hi sirius. I don't personally use Open Office though have a few years ago. I imagine all steps are the same, except when you get to step 6, and from what I remember, Calc is quite straightforward in sorting/filtering data. Use my steps for the data part, but incorporate this simple guide into it and you will have your required results. www.youtube.com/watch?v=AN9ohO3nRn8Many thanks, gc.

I haven't read every post within the discussions regarding Lendy folding, (sorry), but I would suggest that everyone get their loan information from the site whilst they still can/have access, and make sure it tallies (it should).. This may come in quite handy in the future. I am sure everyone knows how to do this, but for anyone a little unsure or new to this... 1, Log into the Lendy site 2, select MY LOANS tab at the top 3, Select EXPORT TO EXCEL tab on the right This will download a .csv file to your computer. If you want to see a list of JUST the loans that you still have outstanding and make sure that the figure tallies with what the Lendy system says, then try the following if you are using Excel. Obviously if you are using other s/ware (Open Office, Libre Office etc, the commands may be different) 4, Open the spreadsheet 5, Select all the data (this can be done by clicking the little tab that is to the left of " A" and above " 1" 6, Click on the Filter and Sort icon within Excel 7, Click on the dropdown box that is in the " Status" field 8, Deselect the bottom three boxes and just leave a tick in the " Live" box (you may notice that the "select all" box is filled in, this is fine) Once you've done this, you should just be left with your "live" loans data on the screen. 9, Highlight all data in the " Amount" column, and also highlight two empty cells below this. 10, Click on the " Sum" tab, it may just be a symbol instead of saying Sum. 11, Save your file - (Personally, I prefer to save it as an Excel Workbook, or whatever prog you are using, than as a .csv file..)The amount it has added up to, should tally with what is still outstanding within Lendy. I am sure you've all done this, but just in case.. Does anyone know how to do this in Open Office please?

I notified Lendy by email that i did not accept the new terms. They replied that I needed to put it in writing which I did, by Recorded Delivery, on 11/03/2018.
My wife did likewise.
Of course, we did not receive a reply, so we also notified Lendy by email on the 17th March that the email confirmed that they received the letters of Non-Acceptance of the new terms, signed for, on 13th March and attached a copy of said letter for their records.
Count both of us in.

My wife received an email Friday, but I did not. £4k discrepancy from previous BDO total investment which was correct, plus a further £500 held on account which they did not acknowledge in the first email either and were informed accordingly.
I 'think' I was selling loans at the time, which I hope accounts for the discrepancy.
Like others I will reconcile bank details and emails.

"Can I politely suggest that some people on this forum may have developed an unhealthy obsession with trustpilot and should reflect on how much of their time they are wasting on it.
If you feel angered by this comment, then consider that anger is a common response when an addict is confronted about their problem by a loved one. "
Hi Hazellend
It would be far better to politely suggest that Lendy........"may have developed an unhealthy obsession with trustpilot and should reflect on how much of their time they are wasting on it".
