Excuse my ignorance but what exactly is a shadow bid? It is where a platform allows you to take a position in a loan without having yet put the money into your account. They are trusting you to provide the money when they request it in time for the loan to be drawn down by the borrower. Thanks Rose.

The process at the SS end is manual, and they have definiteley done a sweep in the past few days as one of mine seemed to take longer than usual (usual being within 24 hours for me) and I queried it. If I were you I would email them and get them to double check what's happened, because this is too long. Often the problem lies with people not doing 'Step One' to pre-credit their account with the exact amounts for every corresponding deposit. If you've got a funding deficit showing, then that would indicate you did that, although you could check your statement to check the amounts were correct for each BACS transfer. Thanks Rose. I did do a pre-credit on both and I've now emailed Tim to investigate.

I deposited two cash amounts on 4th and 5th December. Both for the same amount. Only one seems to have been credited but both amounts have been taken from my bank account. I know there was a weekend in between then and now, but a BACS payment doesn't usually take this long to get credited. Is this situation unusual or should I start getting worried?

Suddenly nearly £2m of available units on these two have disappeared. Has someone wealthy decided these give a juicy return, or has AC stepped in in some way? There appears to be no units available in the browse loans tab - but I still have units on both to sell. There must be another error in the system somewhere.

I'm still showing PBL 1 under the live loans parts. The correctly placed PBL 1 under the repaid loan parts is there. I think this is artificially inflating my live loan parts interest total. Has anybody else got this situation?

Hi All, This has been corrected now. If you spot anything like that, please just pop us a quick mail to support@rebuildingsociety.com - we can't guarantee we'll see these messages. Hi Nick It doesn't seem to be fixed on either score at the moment. I'll email support as requested.

Also, the date column is not in any order. This all looks bizarre and a bit worrying.

In the my statements TAB there are a huge number of new choices available in the filter. Unfortunately the filters do not appear to show the correct amount. Does anybody else have the same experience?

That's an awkward way of doing things. It could make things quite tricky around the time of preparing tax returns etc. The amounts concerned could straddle two tax years if the delays in drawdown were significantly long. Yes, it is rather awkward. The problem would arise if somebody filed their tax return in between the end of the previous tax year and when savingstream applied the retrospective adjustments to to the account. So for example, an investment made in February and adjustments made in May, with the investor having filed a tax return in April. It hasn't arisen yet, but it could do. Perhaps they could start working on a way to make the backdated interest payments appear in the statement on the day they are actually paid while there is still time to avert such an occurrence? savingstream is there any way we can implement this change?

What is happening with the interest on PBL 11/12/13? I've received no interest so far. Are we accumulating interest that will be paid after drawdown or is the money sitting there idle? We are accumulating the interest that will be paid after drawdown - that's how all SS loans work that aren't drawn down immediately. In the past it has worked that any cashback due and upfront interest is paid at the time the loan draws down. Accumulated monthly interest has also been paid at that point for the months that have ended since the investments were made, and back-dated in the statement, which makes it look as though you had the money in the account at that time, so it makes you think you're going loopy and misremembering things. It has the advantage that it makes the statement look as it should have done really, but it doesn't reflect what really actually happened. Personally, I'd prefer the outstanding interest got put into the statement on the day it was paid with an entry description that makes it clear what it's for, but I'm guessing it has something to do with how the interest paying software is set up, and probably isn't a quick thing to fix, and hence the confusing way it is done. That's an awkward way of doing things. It could make things quite tricky around the time of preparing tax returns etc. The amounts concerned could straddle two tax years if the delays in drawdown were significantly long.

Has anybody else had difficulty getting onto the Private Board? I have emailed twice using the email addresses in the instructions but to no avail.
