So, so far as far as the poll goes, nobody who has a company account has passed muster at the moment.

So, I've just received that email. Unfortunately my correspondence address from my bank is different to the Companies House address (which is my accountant's address). How do I sort this nonsense out? Ask your accountant to provide a signed letter on headed paper making that fact clear and include it with the other documents. I emailed them and that's exactly what they requested me to do. Thanks

My wife got one. She invests personally. I, on the other hand, have not got one. I assume this is because I invest via a company. I will await the email requesting further information.

Approximately 23% of investors failed the initial AML checks which I thought this was quite a high percentage. I invest through my company and my wife invests as an individual. Does anyone have an idea as to what might cause the initial failings? My first guess was it was perhaps something along the lines of a company's correspondence address not matching the address held at companies house (which may just be the address of the accountant for example.) They do use the phrase 'modest discrepancies'.

I too am heavily invested in Lendy and fairly heavily invested in this loan. If this loan gets defaulted I believe the chances of me breaking even in P2P after 5 years is severely lessened. This could be the straw that breaks the Camel's back, so to speak.

Perhaps someone might be kind enough to remind me/us how much (%) of my four figure "investment" I'm likely to get back in October based on best estimates for fees etc ? 50%. Eventually. Also, to be precise, it would be more correct to say that we won’t be getting any cash before the 1st October (barring hardship) rather than we will get it during October. I think the wording they used on the portal for funds to be available for withdrawal was 'At this stage, we anticipate that this will be during October.'

Does it matter if they are linked, as long as the valuations were correct and security was perfected in each case? AIUI, the companies involved in these loans all had the same registered office. How could FS not realise that there might be some link? There have been a number of cases where FS knows that loans are linked because it is the same borrower, but lenders have not been told, resulting in a concentration of risk rather than a spreading of risk. Now it is apparently an issue but only because FS were supposedly not aware. Total borrowings: Parcel in EL: £120k GH: £200k Land in LSA: £3.05m PM: £1.331m Rish: £610k Total: £5.311m Please correct me if I have my figures wrong. Well put; during the duration of these loans they would have been calling the person or writing to them regarding renewals etc, so they must have known but there again we know how incompetent they are so may not have twigged. They also state in the email "have been and will continue to be, covering the significant legal costs upfront. We will only seek to be reimbursed for these upon recovery", this is pathetic as the costs come out of proceeds whether receivers costs or whatever so whats new about that and there is no benefit to lenders. All costs related to their cock up should come out of their funds not lenders I see that GH has £60k second ranking and LSA £500k, folk are going to lose money The LSA has five facilities which have a ranking order. The fifth facility states: 'This facility is for £400k and ranks behind prior facilities of £1,000k, £850k, £500k and £500k.'

Probably best to take some screenshots (incl. tax statement) in case the website gets shut down. Just done exactly that.

Why do you think it will go to £0? It has debt but the fundamental holiday market is here to stay and they have a good position as recognised brand. "Thomas Cook shares sink as Citi warns stock could hit zero" article here
I think there's a good chance they'll go bust because I was due to fly with Monarch a few days after they went bust and am due to fly with Thomas Cook in June. Perhaps the climate change God is trying to stop me flying?
I've got two holidays booked - one with the family and one with some friends. Both with TC flights. The flights are booked with intermediaries, Lastminute.com (flights only) and Olympic (package). Does this make any difference if they go bust as opposed to booking direct with the airline? I believe I'd get the costs back as I've paid with a credit card but I really need the flights.

gijai - Try this - Fireshot - Full page web to pdf addon. Useful perhaps aswell as the spreadsheets. Available as a Free addon for FF & Chrome.
For ref: getfireshot.com/ Pro version available at cost allows editing and other funky stuff. Other similar addons available too.
Windows 10 already allows you to natively print web pages to PDF files (simply select the "Microsoft Print to PDF" option from your browser's print dialog) - no additional browser addons required. Thanks. I've just done that for both accounts.

Finally, the court has released the first payment - will be presented to the bank tomorrow. Once cleared funds will be transferred. Is that like the 'Free Beer Tomorrow' joke?
