This does make me wonder about the long-term viability of this loan. As soon as it fills it'll be available via the SM as the flippers try to liquidate their position, and I wonder what they will have to offer to get future tranches away. Cashback on this tranche will set them back almost 24k. As far as I'm aware they haven't done cashback since MTAH474.

I hadn't invested in this one until today but I have to admit the cashback tempted me to open my wallet - although only in a modest way.

bit of lippy drawing the punters to this particular pig "It's a waste of good lipstick and it really annoys the pig." edit: I had just a small flirt with this loan. Living on the edge (etc)

it appears there has been some fall out from the Lendy stories in the press. This is probably why there is a promotion of sorts. I also think MT are a in a different league in terms of professionalism/communication IMHO.

That's how markets work! It depends on you appetite and risk profile. There is always an element of risk. This is much safer than....Lehman Brothers et al!!!!

I'm new to this forum...but I've been investing through platforms for some time and have gained a little experience. I don't think you should question my interest because I have an opinion. Isn't this what this forum is for? To share ideas and thoughts to help educate ourselves on the merits of this or that. I've also done a lot of research on p2p. If you dont share my opinion, I'm not offended.

For what it's worth Dear Readers, and as if you care less ( ), I have fought my greedy CashBack tendencies and have finally decided to be out on this offering. I will keep MT on my (VERY short) list of ABP2Ps to invest with though. 23.40% left (£555,734) @ c10:05

Nope, not even 0.1% If you can't Go Large the CashBack is just not worth it of course, and this is not a Go Larger. IMHO.

Is that a reference to both company heads having 29/30 years track record, and E&Y signing off the business case/accounts for both? Casting the magic of hindsight to one side, and given this is a 18m loan, it would be interesting to compare the investability of Lehman 18 months prior to its "end" with this one, today. You can probably guess where I'm going with this...

Yes I can. I can see you're pretty determined on your outlook. Good luck to you. Having invested you wont be surprised that I don't share your views. Lets return to this when the loan matures!
