Hi all. Please take the time to vote on this poll if you read this.
Nobody is going to ridicule anybody else as it is totally anonymous and therefore it can only be used to gauge investors feelings towards this technology.
I have included the age ranges as I have a firm belief that the younger people are more open to this technology than the older generation.
Many thanks
Edit after poll closed: So, I think you can draw any conclusion you like from this poll, as you can with any poll. You can make it say anything you like.
However, I think without a doubt, my original point has been proven, the younger people are more receptive to this new technology. Of the one person in the age range 18-35 who said they wouldn't invest in it, I wish I had narrowed down the ages a bit to see how old that one person is. My guess, in the higher part of that age range.

Still no
For me crypto currencies are a bit like the Emperor's new clothes. About as secure as an investment in Los Pandos Vineyard

Currencies, including the crypto kind, are designed as a medium of exchange not as an investment. All profits made must in the end be paid for by losses by others.

Can we please refrain from passing judgement and just use the vote to gauge feeling towards the question.
Everybody is entitled to invest how THEY see fit.

Everybody is entitled to invest how THEY see fit. And everyone should be entitled to explain why they voted the way they did.

I did look into bitcoin some time ago, but found it a bit impenetrable, it's a bit more mainstream now, but possibly missed the boat. Never say never.

And everyone should be entitled to explain why they voted the way they did. My diplomatic skills would struggle to describe my views on 'Crypto' currencies as they currently operate though one word may suffice: Insane. I'll take that as a maybe then??

Not forgetting,of Course, that the crypto currency scene contains many facets. Not all crypto currencies are just exchange tokens, some have value due to underlying assets, of varying confidence levels. The block chain technology will impact everyone, unseen, as more financial and legal institutions start to use it.
