I wrote the above in February - looks as if FS trusted this character and blew the chance of selling it in a HK sale where I think such gems are very popular. The word "muppets" springs to mind...
I had a loan complete today and instantly withdrew the money for RateS*tter - OK the rate is much less but I have zero defaults and don't get spoken to as if an idiot. Also the rolling account is very useful for my business whilst FS is starting to damage my health if not wealth...

The surprising thing is that this payment is only for interest to renew. I certainly will not renew and doubt if readers of this forum will.

How can a company like FS be so gullable? How can they still believe this thief borrower? Because FS will believe anything that is thrown at them As for being gullible, incompetent seems more apt

Come on @fs, call their bluff and sell the damn thing. After much delay in repayment /renewal you said you were going to sell it at Tuscon at the end of Feb and you pulled it, and since then there has been four weeks faffing about with drafts and payments "in the post" ... which have amounted to diddly. From my perspective you are being strung along, you've been gracious in you allowances to the borrower, but they they are laughing and peeing all over you.
Make an example .... pour encourager les autres.

The borrower's name is William George Bunter of Bunter Court. He is expecting a postal order tomorrow and will be settling up when he's cashed it, but that won't be until after Easter, and after breakfast.

I shall renew - 4th renewal for me! Borrower appear to be slow in renewing but the security looks ok and gives some diversification from the property loans
