Just checked my 30DAA this morning. I have the account set to 'withdraw interest' to supplement my monthly income. Usually the interest is automatically paid to my cash account on the first day of each month, but January's interest has been paid into the 30DAA account instead. Has anyone else noticed this happening today?
Very annoying because it means my interest has now been locked away in the account for at least 30 days when I should've been able to withdraw it from the platform today.

I just spoke to them about it on LiveChat - they're aware and are looking into it. Multiple ( I suspect all?) people are affected.

Me three. It's not a lot but it's annoying when there's the same issue on the GBBA1 which Assetz have been aware of for some time. It means an extra "withdraw to cash" step before I can invest it elsewhere. I guess at least it's earning QAA interest. As others say, Assetz are aware of the issue and "waiting for IT". They can't advise whether or not to request a withdrawal form the 30DAA or not...

Not ideal, no. Maybe chris can advise what the issue is?

Not ideal, no. Maybe chris can advise what the issue is? I'll comment but feel the need to restate that we do not officially support this forum any more unfortunately so this isn't the forum to request a response from the business. The lender desk should be used for all official communication. But since I'm here... We made a change a couple of weeks ago to improve the website performance that had an unintended consequence of introducing a race condition in the code (where two things run in parallel with the timings of each being important to their successful completion) which led to many lenders not having their withdrawals processed, as their funds had yet to arrive in their account. A fix is being put in place to remove the race condition and a correction is being tested that will withdraw everyone's funds from the 30DAA bypassing the usual notice period. A separate fix has also been developed for other repayments for other accounts which will go live in the next couple of days.

Thanks chris, that makes perfect sense. Not sure why customer support couldn't give a similar message - "We're testing an update and aiming for a fix in a few days" rather than an open ended "It's with IT; when we hear something you'll hear something", which comes across as an organisation that's not joined up and not customer focused.

Shame, that, but unsurprising. We'll just have to gossip among ourselves.
