Not sure I'd refer a friend these days, but I have one or two scores to settle, so this may be a crafty vehicle for revenge.

If it attracts new investors, will help me get some of my selling loan parts out faster. Lofts comment made me giggle

Lendy, if you're struggling to fund new loans, concentrate on recovering old money instead of trying to bring new money to the platform.
With some loans more than a year overdue, I think it's time to stop fannnying around!
The trouble is Lendy make all their money when they bring in new loans through fees and retaining all their interest upfront and make nothing when a loan is recovered/repaid !

Dear Jeepers, and thanks for your forum message. You're assessment however is wrong, and does not reflect the business models of a great many P2P lenders. From our position, we place just as much focus on our repayments and recoveries programmes as we do on new loan origination, and our portfolio management team has been beefed up over recent months, who have had much success - including a large £2m+ repayment yesterday. The attached article hopefully provides a little more information. CCR magazine - Lendy Oct 17.pdf (52.56 KB). Do though get in touch if you have any specific questions and we'll get back to you. Thanks again, Paul64

Dont think anyone is really interested in vague promises, seeing you are reading this Paul what is happening with DFL005.

I don't think he wanted a link to the latest update (from 5 days ag0). He wanted the most up-to-date info from you who are presumably in the office and able to tell us of any recent progress.

Dear blata , please find the update here, which is the most up to date position we have. It is progressing very well. "We have spoken to the borrower's solicitor, who has confirmed that completion of the sale is expected over the course of the next few working days. Whilst the sale has taken longer than expected to complete we remain confident full repayment will be achieved soon." Paul64

If DFL 5 gets repaid by the end of the week my confidence will be restored. If not then it really will look like someone's spinning us a yarn.

If DFL 5 gets repaid by the end of the week my confidence will be restored. If not then it really will look like someone's spinning us a yarn. Why the fixation (from quite a few on here) over the exact timing of DFL005's completion? It's hard enough trying to get both sides' solictitors happy with a simple residential house sale; the complexities on something this big must be considerable. But there's nothing to suggest it's not proceeding according to plan. The original mansion house sale (PBL058) similarly took a lot longer than originally expected to complete (take a look at the updates). Deep breath, folks ... I'm sure Lendy are just as keen for it to complete as you are!
