It wouldn't surprise me if they had some previous, mutually, financially benefitting relationship, at others expense, probably their customers.

Crikey - this whole saga is starting to make a plot from a John le Carré novel look as simplistic as a storyline from The Magic Roundabout!?
However, as a supporter of RR I cannot deny this looks like damning evidence against them (yet to be proven of course - but there's usually 'no smoke without fire')... More convincing (at least in timing) would be the fines already administered to GC for misconduct in his day to day job as an insolvency practitioner. It does rather beg the question 'to what extent (if at all?) can the general public trust a 'licensed' insolvency practitioner? How do you get one of these licenses - save up the tops from cereal packets and send them off with a small fee? Perhaps more pertinently, exactly what do you have to do (and just how many times do you have to get caught doing it) to lose a license!? All IMHO of course.

I'm surprised that the FCA were so forthcoming with the information. All makes for potentially interesting reading when the report comes out tomorrow.
Bill and Ben (the Currie men) have their assets frozen and GC potentially getting his collar felt regarding actions he took while pretending to be the administrator.

Would BDO comment on RR/GC? (Other than to say they replaced them, perhaps, by way of some brief timeline?) Going forwards, I don't feel GC's (alleged) shenanigans are germane to this process and for BDO to comment would, IMO, be unnecessary; possibly foolhardy and maybe even outside of professional conduct guidelines.
