Does anyone think there may be a significance that this IPO corresponds to the ex dividend date of 27th September 2018 for the next quarter payment of the Funding Circle SME (closed ended investment).
Curious that the divided has been reduce for the very first time and the value of the fund is slipping?

It wont concern me sussex but from what ive gleaned from various posts and links on here and elsewhere, the party balloons are in danger of bursting.

Oh dear, they may have to put a stop to this Friday's free beer, salsa dancing and ping pong.
I bet they keep the indoor putting green. They could have tried to get funding to develop it if they had not killed off their "highly gullible experienced property team". Where did they all end up?
Perhaps Samir and the others could get back to dropping in to see the borrowers in the scandalous London hotel loans and their subsidiary in Eastbourne (protected by a SPV to escape any liability).

Optically they will want to end up from the offer price on the first day of trading (currently marginally below) so don't be surprised to see some 'stabilisation' activity later in the session if the discount persists. There is an over-allotment option of c.10m shares.

GS is permitted to stabilise FCH for up to a month (but might not). Until then, it's opaque: we may not learn the true market price until 29 October.

Share price going south daily since launch.
Some BIG sales transactions showing on Hargreaves Lansdown. Some people have caught a nasty cold on the IPO.

It makes my FC account with its plethora of defaults look quite OK in comparison! At least I'm still up ... just ...
