Loans defaulting after one repayment rang alarm bells & FC management appear to be completely out of touch with their P2P investors. I have no doubt that the IPO gave FC directors a bumper payday but it has been bad news for investors.

I wonder if it would be possible for FC to offer a product such as this:
- you take out a mortgage and at the same time put your savings into FC p2p. The earnings on P2P pay off some of the mortgage interest (effectively without a large chunk being taken in income tax)
So if the mortgage interest rate was 2% and FC could earn 6% then a £40k savings would pay the interest on £120k of the mortgage.

ig.com it is easy and (judging by the 15% drop today) everyone is doing it  How have i missed that  . Have they got Interserve listed ? Hope you got short in time. Down 20% today

Well, the shares are up from 250 last week to 350 now (having floated at 440).

Did not dabble in IPO and have reduced from over £200K down to £8.60. Leaving that to keep account live to get back the £5K in the london loans. overall net about 8-10%. Doubt I'd be tempted back.
