But I still have £10k on a property in Cumbria, in the other account, which is definitely going in April, even if I have to sell the whole account. Let me know before you sell up so I can put pause my lending...

You will only get a £40 loan part - but yes, I will give notice. 24 hours. You've suffered enough.

Also, if you have the ISA and Classic running can they purchase parts of the same loan?

I don't think you buy multiple parts on the SM (on the same account). The scheme seems to be that you buy the largest part you can - and that is not limited to £100. I have sold some £2000 property parts under the new scheme, to some unfortunate lenders with £400k plus portfolios. I think they are not allowed to buy until they get to 5% and then they take the largest parts available. Otherwise the liquidity of old portfolios would be shot. Different accounts are totally independent.

More defaults, l just get into a profit of a few quid and then l suffer another £35 loss on default. Guess what they all fall into the red category of the RAG and the guarantors have no funds. I think l ought to start my own company, borrow 100G then default after 1 payment and head to the Bahamas

I,'ll spring for the shared bag of crisps with the 94p in my recoveries account. :-)

And did they swallow that story, about diversification into Bong-tree products requiring £250k?

Far be it from me to put a dampener on anybodies carefully laid plans, but....... You do realise a modern five pound note (unsure of the correct cockney rhyming slang - suspect diver, short for skin diver) would be totally unsuitable for lots of money and plenty of honey wrapping purposes?

You should allow for monetary inflation, and the stickiness of the honey. A white £5 note would be much larger now, so that while once it wrapped 'some' money, today is could contain 'loadsa' money, in high denomination Euro notes. The money is captainb's department. I have enough to do trying to fill the owl suit, without even thinking about trying to play the small guitar. But it's worth it. We will buy four runcible spoons locally, from the loan money. No, we don't need a coxswain, nor a 'skin diver', thank you.
Edit: I have done the sums. The £5 note from 1871, 195mm by 120mm, or 0.0234 sq.m, would by now have inflated to 2.66 sq.m. No wrapping problem.

Just our luck to be caught by one of those occasional random DD checks. I think VI may have guessed and tipped them off. He may be an idiot, but he's not stupid.

Lucky for me as I only just got here and saw your 24h notice. I am trying to sell a troublesome Cumbrian part at £35 however it switches to the next largest part of £40 which have several months left on them.

I am trying to sell a troublesome Cumbrian part at £35 however it switches to the next largest part of £40 which have several months left on them. It has not started selling them yet, but last time they went all at once in the evening. Unfortunately, the machine has chosen all of Cumbria3 but only a few of Cumbria2. They all have to go. There will be a second tranche, probably tomorrow.
Update 1pm. The first tranche all sold, to lucky ISA starters, no doubt. The second tranche now up, and this time it includes 150 parts of Cumbria 2, with little collateral damage (whoops). So I get to keep my Somerset parts. Cumbria is 11%, and so many 'buyers' will be pleased. Update 5pm: all gone. Impressive liquidity.
