Two months since my first trip around a number of developments in which I held an interest, and I can report
some progress in Brighton but at £70/day financing cost I would want/expect considerably more activity even
given the terrible weather. The roofing is complete, scaffold stripped and some internal partitions visible.
Next stop Darmonds Green and a bigger surprise, very little progress in two months, external walls only to first lift (ie 5' above dpc)
Drove past Newsham Park on the way to Beresford Road, and saw some scaffolding on the yard elevation but no activity on the street elevations. The semi-detached houses looked fine, again scaffold has now disappeared BUT I have no explanation or understanding why there was nobody at all working on any of the three sites where I did stop and take photographs!!!
Forgot to mention Camden Street where I paused very briefly since the heavens opened but noted that substantial progress with the steel frame had occurred since previous visit and crane was still on site.
On the way home I drove through the roadworks in Maesbury Road presumably the Section 106 highway entrance works for the proposed Garden Centre which are scheduled for five months according to the roadside sign, .and finally Quinta Lane in Weston Rhyn where I can report good progress. All brickwork completed and four of the five roofes tiled, and plenty of site activity.
