Two months since my first trip around a number of developments in which I held an interest, and I can report some progress in Brighton but at £70/day financing cost I would want/expect considerably more activity even given the terrible weather. The roofing is complete, scaffold stripped and some internal partitions visible.
Next stop Darmonds Green and a bigger surprise, very little progress in two months, external walls only to first lift (ie 5' above dpc)
Drove past Newsham Park on the way to Beresford Road, and saw some scaffolding on the yard elevation but no activity on the street elevations. The semi-detached houses looked fine, again scaffold has now disappeared BUT I have no explanation or understanding why there was nobody at all working on any of the three sites where I did stop and take photographs!!!
Forgot to mention Camden Street where I paused very briefly since the heavens opened but noted that substantial progress with the steel frame had occurred since previous visit and crane was still on site.
On the way home I drove through the roadworks in Maesbury Road presumably the Section 106 highway entrance works for the proposed Garden Centre which are scheduled for five months according to the roadside sign, .and finally Quinta Lane in Weston Rhyn where I can report good progress. All brickwork completed and four of the five roofes tiled, and plenty of site activity.

So helpful! FS should hire you, in fact perhaps they should consider crowdsourcing their updates from the lenders?!

Latest visit to check on progress yesterday started with Beresford Road where the buildings appear to be substantially complete although not able to view internally and extensive external works clearly in progress at this time. Large property in Heswall looks in great shape and some small progress has been made in Darmonds Green. Externally Newsham Park looks the same although I understand plenty of work has been done internally. Evidence of more steelwork completed in Camden Street and finally some small progress in Hightown with most of the scaffold now removed.
EDIT Having this morning compared tablet images from previous visit regret that no progress has been made at Darmonds.

Another month has passed and so today I revisited a number of property investments, mainly for my own peace of mind but also to share with fellow forumites. First stop as usual was Hightown and, whilst some changes are noted I must say that, if I were the Developer, I would be concerned at the cost of finance compared to progress. The tarpaulin at the front covers a stack of plasterboards that clearly have yet to be installed.

Next stop was Disconnected Road, a complete contrast, with lots of activity and many operatives working on all aspects. Unfortunately the only view I could get was of Block 1 through the scaffold already in place for Block 2. Expect rapid progress as the buildings are clearly prefabricated off site hence the full scaffolding in place for Block 2.

Although I have long since disposed of my investment in Darmonds Green I am pleased to report that work has recently restarted and the last of the foundations with blockwork below dpc currently in progress just inside the site entrance gate (refer to previous photo because the site foreman objected to me taking any photos today).

Onwards into the town centre and Camden Street where the steelframe appears to be complete but no sign of any follow up trades and no action on site.

Under the Mersey to take in Beresford Road where again there has been little progress other than completion of drainage work to the front of the properties, and the appearance of an Estate Agents board.

Great photos. Thanks.
Gentle reminder to the owner of LS54 WSO that the MOT expires in 5 days.
