@18/04/2018 5 years New offer estimated matching time is 17 days!!!!!
does it mean losing 17 days (+ 2 days clearing time for depositing funds with a debit card) interest a year?

Delays investing can be a bit frustrating but I have calculated the real effect of a 19 days delay on a new 5 Year loan at 6%. On a £1000 loan it works out as an average of 65p a year . Or to put it another way you would receive £296.75 interest over 5 years rather than £300 ( assuming no reinvestment of interest).
Compared to the risk in P2P of your Capital disappearing down a black hole , some minor cash drag is not really a significant worry.( in my opinion)

Is it possible to see the current estimated matching time without making a new investment?

I’ve just opened an account and bunged in a few grand. Where on the site do I find out how long it will take to get invested? Thanks.

They must have found some new borrowers. My expected matching time has dropped from 15 to 5 days today!

I suspect that their system is not very good at estimating matching times, hence the sudden changes .
A bit like when you download or install a program on your computer. It says 5 mins to download ; 5 mins later it says 4m 30s; and then a minute later it is done.

Anyone notice any delay for new money in December?
My queue ahead is £815,711.72 (12-Dec-2018), estimated matching time is still 7 days, where I deposited the money last week.

They were loaned out on 26th and 30th November respectively - so 7 and then 8 days to be matched. I then received my £50 bonus on 4th December and this is still waiting to be matched with a queue of 6 days and £765k ahead of me . So matching is definitely slowing down...
