I've contacted LW several times to get some idea of projected waiting times for lending out my deposits in the future. On each occasion, I got a very vague and unhelpful response. It's clear to me that LW are not interested in retail lenders

The accuracy of e mail response also suggests they dont want us. I wont go into the details, suffice to say I'm glad the response wasnt of a confidential nature as the response was clearly from another investor. Nuff said.

The reply I received yesterday regarding waiting times, as I have said before lending was quite brisk up until 27th Sept when everything came to a stop.

Dear Mr Xxxxx,
Thank you for your email.
The time it takes for funds to match to loans is very long at the moment, as we are still being cautious over how fast we are returning to our pre-covid lending levels and are still operating under a very risk-averse credit framework.
Though we have been seeing a gradual improvement in our lending levels throughout this year, we believe being overly cautious continues to be sensible as the government support programs are wound up. We hope that we will have more information regarding our matching times by the beginning of next year.
I am sorry I am still unable to be more specific at this time. As soon as we have more information for you, we will let you know.
Kind Regards,
Jenn**** H*****

I have orders going back to 1 Oct. Yesterday I cancelled all but the oldest and withdrew. They are at least very quick about returning cash.

I have been withdrawing gradually but have left the odd offer just to see how things pan out, this week lending has picked up again, perhaps people are borrowing for Christmas!!!

after today e mail , Ive just decided to take the hit and pay their extortionate fee to bail out. TBH its just not worth the hassle to keep logging in each week to see dribbles being paid back. After todays announcement I no linger wish to gamble that they may even be trading in the future. Might be wrong buy hey , decision made.
