Apologies if this has been covered, but I am trying to find out which type of investors BOUGHT the (discounted) loans, from those existing lenders (including me) who exited at the beginning of April. Seems to me that it must have been institutional buyers eg Intriva, but LW are insisting it was all retail buyers. Given the heavy delays to investing new money that many are reporting in this thread, I really donβt see how it could have been retail money hoovering up this stuff. Anyone have any useful insights? Thanks in advance.

Still no movement for me yet, 15 months on offer. Patient person birdie. Presume it's a small test amount your hoping to invest? I think (like most sites) they are trying to tell us something π

Fed up of waiting now so I have transferred the rest of my ISA, I still have some in my everyday account being repaid but nothing being re-invested, yet.

I've been very happy with Loanpad up to now so it's going there, it should be safe enough. Steve

I'm starting to get a trickle of investments lent out in the Flexible a/c but still no movement in the Growth. I'll leave what's in there just for curiosity.

Maybe I quoted transfer times as good a bit hasty.. my recent one is over a week now. They claim my e mail address is wrong when enquiring .... Funny it's the same one I always correspond with them. Deep breath.....

An update, My reinvested money in the flexible account seems to be going out almost daily now but no movement on reinvested growth so I have altered my setting for flexible only until things catch up a bit, new money of any kind it not moving no matter how long it's been sat waiting.

I don't why you bother investing with these clowns. High risk for low returns. The worst performing P2P company during Covid. Invest in EIS shares on Seedrs and for 30% rebate and capital gains free.

Not sure why someone with no interest in LW would want to hang around a LW thread taking potshots at passing posters, but never mind... Would you mind sharing how old are the offers which are now shifting? I'm still seeing no movement at all but I keep losing patience and withdrawing, so my oldest offer is 7 April (re-invested money)

Would you mind sharing how old are the offers which are now shifting? I'm still seeing no movement at all but I keep losing patience and withdrawing, so my oldest offer is 7 April (re-invested money) Yes, my re-invested Flexible is going out more or less within a couple of days after it goes on offer, no movement on the Growth though. In my early days with Lending Works I would let my money build up in the holding account and re-invest in slightly larger chunks, it took me a while to realize this was then classed as new money not re-invested money, I'm a slow learner, all settings are now set to re-invest. New money is not moving in Flexible or Growth. The bulk of my money has been withdrawn, what I have left is just for curiosity to see how things pan out this year. Steve
