Just to add to the numbers. My account is suspended but my wife's is not. No idea what is going on, but the message I get when I try to log on is not to email them as they won't be able to identify me. What happened to customer service?

Same here, and just noticed the email.
Since email includes first name I am not concerned about authenticity.
This must be an emergency change, otherwise I would have expected some notice. My guess is that something corrupted account data and Zopa are recovering/restoring it. Account access has to be suspended to ensure the data does not change while they do this.
What is not acceptable is that the email has such limited information, and that no-one has been volunteered to provide customer service.
I am withdrawing from Zopa - returned cash is drawn out every Monday, arriving in my bank on Wednesday - so if the system is not recovered this does present an inconvenience.
Cue formal complaint.

The email says ignore the account suspended message. A pity they couldn't use something less alarming like an under maintenance message.

My account is suspended, but Mr Misotu can log into his account and was able to withdraw the funds in holding this morning.
I didn't see the email until after I'd been told my account was suspended and then nipped over here to see if it was a general problem. This board is a lot more helpful than Zopa!
I'm withdrawing, not re-investing, so this is extremely inconvenient. Astonishing that there is no-one in customer service to handle queries and process withdrawals. Astonishing that they couldn't give a more appropriate on-screen message. "Account suspended" is a bit of a shock, to say the least.
Still, nice to know that Zopa customer services are enjoying a peaceful weekend, as usual.

My account is suspended - my guess is older accounts are suspended? In order for certain historic anomalies / problems to be massaged?
Any sort of commitment to customer service would call for a 48hour+ warning of this - not 30 minutes.

Mine, too, is suspended and I also got the email. Been with them since Feb 2013, if that matters, as someone said might be affecting older accounts.

This fits with our situation - my account is 2011 but Mr Misotu's account was only opened last year.

I have access and received no email. I joined July 2010.
However, I did not open any of their newer type of accounts and I have not put money into Zopa or made a loan since mid 2017.

Well a fair smattering of types perhaps. I joined in 2006, Mrs AJU more recently we are both locked out. I wonder if its an ISA thing perhaps. I have transferred a previous years worth but Mrs AJU has not as yet. We both opened ISA's last year June in fact and we have both transferred Classic lending across to our ISA sides.
It could be account issues perhaps, zopa did say that relending would work.
I wonder how easy it will be to get through to Customer service next week, not sure its that big based on the same people I keep getting to deal with me by email.
I guess every cloud has a silver lining by the time its back on for me my last lot of ISA transfer in funding will be almost lent out and I can just poke the returned money back into Core and turn relend back on when that is lent out. I would have prefered to be lending it daily - I was topping up each day as it went down from 1999, some days more than others. There will be a little bit to go into Plus to maintain my 20:80% rules.

My main complaint is not being given any time to download data - I tried logging in as soon as the email arrived and couldn't get access. This would not be acceptable if they were a bank - which is what they are hoping to be....

This would not be acceptable if they were a bank - which is what they are hoping to be.... The irony is that they were so anti-bank at the outset in the early days.
