No, thats every 15 minutes. That refresh will update the tab every 15 mins, which means you wont get timed out after the website setting of 20 mins.
Trust me, I used to work at B&Q.
Ah, I see! Thank you! Do you know of anything similar for Safari?

Me to . Decided to move out and go back to stocks and shares. They'll be demanding pin sentry next. westcountryfunder - just picked up on your post. Authy supports both desktop applications and landlines for 2FA so you shouldn't have any issues still access the site even without a smartphone. If you talk to the lender desk they should be able to help. I looked in the App Store on my Mac and they had nothing for Authy?

I'm going to persevere with the phone calls for now as I don't want to download anything I don't have to and I am also hoping that your team will see the light and reserve 2fa for just sensitive transactions!

The team have seen the light and that is being implemented, so lenders will be able to opt-out of having to use 2FA for logging in as long as they read the appropriate warnings etc.

Thank you! And I have to say because I haven't before, how good it is to have you and the other AC reps here on the forum. And all the more so because you actually listened to us!

What I wonder about is whether the whole site is safe from cyber attack. How does the number of big names that have had some hackers get at the whole thing compared to single people being hacked ?

Now I can stop following this thread and get on with something useful.

There's also the social engineering aspect of attackers targeting staff, etc. All are issues that are taken very seriously, with time, resources, and money being invested to mitigate the risks and protect lender funds.

Plenty of other P2P lenders would do well to follow your example (although I do understand it obviously absorbs that most precious of resources - time)

I would see the ideal balance as being requiringing 2FA only when I'm logging on from a new device, or when performing a "sensitive" operation.
Requiring it on every login from every device would tend to reduce security, as it makes users more vulnerable to MITM attacks using a phishing site [Edit: or more precisely, just as vulnerable as they were before the introduction of 2FA] (if I'm already using the 2FA several times a day, being asked to enter the second factor when I reach the MITM phishing site could just seem routine, rather than alerting me that something phishy might be going on).

If I installed an 09XX landline number, I might be able to earn £6 every time I logged in.

Also, looking at past posts I know this has been discussed for a long time, but in regards to withdrawals, when will the linked account system be starting please?
