I am interested in the reasons behind the recent changes at FS and have been doing DD on the new major shareholder etc. Granted the information given at companies house is probably out of date but it is still nonetheless very interesting! Whilst researching information gathered from Link***n I came across the below which refers to a company which is or was run by a person of interest to us www.reddit.com/r/Crowdfunding/comments/49ph1b/property_developer_runs_off_with_funds_on/update from the above for "misapplied" read "done a runner"! Well would you believe it - in a word - YES! |

I've dug around a bit, but failed to identify the Uxbridge developer, and so can't make the connection to Raj. Perhaps I've missed something obvious. Could you perhaps give us the developer's initials?

C****lords limited shows Richard B as director of this company
and also 2 companies viz C* n*umber 99 (99 represents two integers) ltd and
C* n*umber 99 (99 represents two integers) ltd
Click on people and we C****lords ltd as an officer
Click on RK linkedin profile and we have him as director of *S (guess which company that is!) and also C****lords but whether ltd or limited is not stated
Go back to C****lords limited and click on charges
for sept 2018 we have a charge with person entitled to be a certain RK!
That is what CH shows - granted it may be out of date but I am not a forensic accountant although I find the above interesting...

So all you've in fact 'discovered' is that Richard Bush and Raj Kumar run Crowdlords, Crowdlords use SPV's for their investments, and a developer may have defrauded Crowdlords. Hold the front page.

Why is it in fundingsecure thread? I missed something or what? One of those individuals has just purchased a majority share of FS, as has been openly communicated by FS. This thread is attempting to dig into the individual's history and a possible issue that arose in a previous company. If any blame could be attributed to him is both unknown and possibly unlikely.

From the info in that Reddit thread, the situation looks to draw some parallels with Whitehaven (Funds lent are now unaccounted for). Crowdlords look to be a lot more direct in labelling the situation as 'criminal activity'.
To me this puts Crowdlords lenders in a better place than Whitehaven lenders, they monitor closely enough to know that money has gone where it shouldn't and can therefore pursue recovery on that basis. FS have only been able to report 'suspicions' and are having to take the bankruptcy route.

I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist, in fact, I strongly dislike all the speculation and baseless accusations that often get flung around, but editing that page is an odd one. What company lists a basic investor next to the CEO and above the CTO? 😂 Edit: am glad I say the page prior to the change as I wouldn't have believed they would have done something so blatant otherwise!
