Just in case anyone wants to check this actually happened if you google crowdlords and the gentleman's name the top result shows the cached information from before the site was changed: "We connect Investors and Property Professionals so that ... - CrowdLords www.crowdlords.com/about-usR** K***. Co-founder. Team. S** P***. CTO. Team. S*** M*****. Communications & Content Manager. Team. S*** T****. Investor Relations ..." His linkedin etc suggests he's only been involved a couple of months but putting him as co-founder seems a weird mistake to be a slip of the hand type thing!

Amazing. I saw the website change from co-founder to investor. There is another person there who is 'investor relations', which now looks a bit odd in the context. Thanks for another reason to be cautious.

What company lists a basic investor next to the CEO and above the CTO? 😂 Maybe they only have the one investor, which is why he commands such a prominent position on the website.

It’s good to know that FS DO read these posts after much speculation and do comment where ‘appropriate’. Even if they do use the same scriptwriter as for some of the exuberant loan updates. 🤨 Hopefully fundingsecure will be back to update the update so we can all sleep easy. (Well when the 1/3 of my loans go from non performing to effective recovery) |

Hang on - RK is still showing as an Executive director for FS and a director of Cr**lords
in his LinkedIn profile
Here we have a company dealing with millions of pounds of our money and a main investor/investor.executive director/director/founder/co-founder seems puzzled as to what his
actual position is with regard to these 2 companies!
And we have RK incorporated and registered address at PO box 99999 Dubai - give me a break.
Looks to me as if Cr***ds use mezzanine financing and debt leverage products which is something I am not personally interested in although I wonder if this will become part of the FS policy - if it does then count me out. As we all know *unding C* changed their business model ..

I just don't understand what is going on here - that is not the same as passing judgement although I like to be cautious with my hard-earned money. I don't doubt there are experienced accountants on this forum who will know exactly what is going on here.
Hold the front page - we and/or the press will be returning to this topic!
PS any news on the "underwritten" Landrover loan?

This is a very good point which I think 100% justifies my comments - of course they can try but that would be a bit naughty!
My investment with FS is now down to well under £1000 so apart from my mega list I am just not interested anymore in them - just my opinion.

He's not a basic investor, he's an investor in the company and its hardly surprising he's taken a charge to protect that investment. Of course, you couldn't take out a charge if you lent money via the platform as you don't have any claim on the platform just the borrower who is totally separate.

Looking at the incorporation of C*lords Limited in 2014 @ Companies House, page #2 of the filing history, RK was not listed as a shareholder and has never been listed as a director or shareholder until August this year, shown in Li but not updated on CH.
The current 'Co-Founder' RB (now CEO) is listed as an initial shareholder and director, along with Miss BJ who resigned in 2016.
'Maybe' this goes some way to legitimise the current 'about us' page; maybe it was a mistake when RK was shown as a co-founder as his charge over the company was not created until 7th Sept 2018?
I don't know much about RK, but if he is an experienced businessman with particular experience in property investment / lending, maybe he is the right guy to give FS a kick up the ar** and get them back on track? i guess time will tell. Someone needs to....IMHO

I agree. C*lords had a fund raise with S*****s in 2014 only the above two people listed as co-founders. Also says 228 investors took part in fund raise.

seem to be a lot of experience as CEO in the holiday business along with several voluntary dissolved holiday companies - nothing wrong with that but I am looking for relevance property experience...
I note C*****T PR & MARKETING LIMITED was subjected to a compulsory strike off
G*** estates was subjected to a compulsory strike off 6 months after RK resigned
oh well back to work... I have made my mind up on where I am going with FS

Female dir of CL in 2016? Is that BNSJ? If so is address you're referring to the Farmhouse one in RG27? If so, who is supposed to have a matching address?
