... And it's not just monitoring events - additions to the updates tab slip in quietly and unheralded all the time, and the "last updated" column doesn't help as it seems not to relate to updates at all. Can somebody confirm that experience? I would assume setting that flag happens automatically when somebody edits these pages. If a loan is flagged as "last updated" I always find something new in either the activity tab or the Q&A. Not sure "Documents" alone trigger it. I just checked the loan I mentioned earlier (#282).The "last updated" column shows today's date but there are no updates since yesterday, no Q & A, documents, payments, draw-downs or anything else I can detect.

It's there for me, loan 282 under the Q&A tab.

If you mean for tax purposes, I assume that it will be in your tax statements. I have a loan on my portfolio that has had no prospect of paying anything more for years, AC have said as much, but it is still there.

Many thanks for the reply, It looks likes this is going to be a re run of TC, four years later 90k stuck on the TC site no interest with very little prospect of the majority of the monies being repaid, what annoys me is the misleading statements made concerning defaults. Many new investors are unaware of the true scale of defaults and timescales involved, it only becomes apparent when trying to remove all of the funds.

Does anyone think that peer to peer lending has had its day. With the competition and the falling interest rates.

True i've done well with it. But the falling interest rates and the problems with Lendy are cracks beginning to appear.

I think that the risks have increased over the last few years and the returns have fallen. I am out of, or exiting the majority of my previous platforms. There are still a couple I like, another I am testing, and one I am considering giving a second chance. But I am way off my previous high water mark of P2P investment and more likely to fall further than rise.

May I ask on which sites you see the best opportunities at present? Is AC one of the ones to which you are reducing your exposure?

May I ask on which sites you see the best opportunities at present? Is AC one of the ones to which you are reducing your exposure? AC is one of the ones that fits me and my other investments best. I will probably reduce a little when some of the current bonus rates end as I now have some other ideas for money, but AC will remain my largest P2P investment. (My other P2P investment is Octopus Choice and I might increase that over time, but I am disappointed with their diversification algorithm, though perhaps it is better than it once was. And I have just started testing Lending Works, but I still have much to learn before I increase that.)

Octopus and lending works dont have very good interest rates though. Advertised interest rates and the actual return are not the same thing.
