Octopus and lending works dont have very good interest rates though. Agreed, but Octopus is a large experienced company so platform risk might be lower. I haven't actually made an investment with LW yet as I hit the Christmas slow down. I am happy with 6.5% if it genuinely is lower risk, easy to manage and run by people who know what they are doing. I must admit I have not been impressed by the people on their end of the phone. And there diversification is not great either. I have less invested overall than I used to - slightly more in AC than I used to have in AC, but much less than I used have in P2P in total. I agree about the poor diversification on OC. If they could promise something closer to 1% rather than 10% I would treble my investment the next day. As it is I am slowly increasing it every few months in the hope that might help.

It is only fairly recently that I invested more than a token sum in Octopus Choice but I just checked the current portfolio and find that my investment is spread across 90 loans with the highest in any loan being 1.9%.
