Good to see that the Enhanced Recovery Team has leapt into action. (NOT)!!
Just been through my long list of defaulted loans only to find that NOT ONE OF THEM has an update more recent than 10/1/19.
Not only have they not been updated but all but a handful are still showing the irritating corporate-speak "Following on from both the last monthly update, and the Enhanced Recovery Update sent out before Christmas ..." blah, blah, blah. My God, is anything happening at all?
Or am I supposed to understand that when Lendy says "last monthly update" they mean there is only going to be monthly updates from now on? Presumably the Enhanced Recovery Team is so busy doing Enhanced Recovery that they don't have the time to keep us informed!!
Grrrrr, Lendy - the sooner I'm out the better. As a Pompey lad myself, I'm ashamed of you.

We will provide a detailed update as soon as we can and in any event on or before the next monthly update at the end of January 2019.When was it last (routinely) anything more frequent?

Last year I was checking the updates on my loans every weekend. I still am. OK, there wasn't much in the way of resolution but at least it was worth looking because there was usually something in the way of updates. NOT ANY MORE is my point.
Is that alright with you?

NOT ANY MORE is my point. But that point is, quite simply, wrong. There hasn't been a January update other than "We're having a fresh look at all this, and the next update will be more informative". That's all. If the February update is not informative, as promised, then I'm with you on the barricades. But, until then... Meanwhile, it does look as if actual action is being taken, given the very recent administrator appointments and sale listings discussed in other threads.

But that point is, quite simply, wrong. Really! On my stock of non-performing loans the 10/1/19 and the 3/12/18 updates say basically nothing. Granted, 3 or 4 say something like 'negotiations are continuing' but essentially nothing has changed since the November updates.

Last year I was checking the updates on my loans every weekend. I still am. Lendy announced on 31/8/18 that updates henceforth would be monthly, so checking your loans every weekend seems likely to disappoint.

That's why they're (apparently) putting the new team in place. Let's give 'em a chance, eh?

As it has taken Old Lendy in some cases years to achieve almost nothing, assuming that the new guys came in with a magic 'instant results' wand is overly optimistic at best.

As we have seen on most platforms the updates mean diddly squat. No matter what they say we still have to wait. Even when things are sold it take ages for anything meaningful to be given in an update.
I’m reasonable optimistic so just make sure any bad news does little to dampen my outlook as individual loans have a greater positive impact when paying off than they do by failing. As failure is rarely >50% of max 1% investment and positive returns usually >18% APR on the rest that I allow to mature.
