Liquidity test = sold a loan part in 4 hours (from 6am to 10am)
Admittedly the loan part was small, but it only had 4months to run

What a poor offering whole loan parts only, so can't use unless I have more or matches the available loans. Charging a fee to the seller. Web site doesn't update wallet having to login / logout to get new balance available. Loans total under self select not updated, expect this may be updated overnight.
Disappointed in kuflink. As only tried a trial run with loans that have a short term to run no harm done, certainly not up to my expectations below the basic needs.
The basic need is to reinvest both capital and interest and that requires the ability to buy only part of a loan, so a 7% loan becomes (1 + 0.07/12)**12-1 = 7.229%AER
To counter this rather than purchase £100, it might be split down into a purchase of a series of smaller loan parts such as 10 x £10.
The loan parts appear to have no priority and not queued in order again a result of not being able to deal with anything but whole loan parts.
The plans to exit kuflink remain the extra loan from the SM ending before the previous plan exit date. The amount bought on the SM small enough not to be concerned with.

In defence/ hope... I hope that they are taking an agile approach
This is the minimum viable product to launch something that meets some needs with a plan to enhance the offering over time.
Partial loan parts
Sales at discounts/ premiums etc
Sorting/ filtering of secondary market etc
However I have no evidence to suggest that’s the approach they are taking!

surely when you invested the amount you chose you knew it was for the full term of the loan.these are fairly short term compared to the likes of LY,FS,MT etc and so far so good, with the way things are going.secondary markets +and - discounting and trying to pass loans on to some other less clued up lenders just before they come to completion seems to be the p2p game.kuflinks rates plus abit of skin in each loan and proper monitoring of loans seems to be working.no need to fix something if its not broke.

What they really need is a self select IFISA.

Yes, there are improvements to be made but it was only introduced yesterday... give them a chance! IMO kuflink is the best P2P platform. The rates are a bit lower than MT, L, FS etc but far less risk lending on residential as well as having ‘skin in the game’ as opposed to taking a punt on overvalued quarry’s and castles etc. It seems most would agree with only 6 or 7 small parts available on the SM. I have to agree I am actively unwinding my p2p positions except from Kuflink where I am increasing my holdings. Sensible valuations, good ltv’s and fair interest rates relative to risk.

It works, I listed a small part at 18:30 and it was sold by 10:30 the next day and reinvested shortly afterwards.
My feedback was - excellent so far and "remove the selling fee and allow part of a loan to be sold".
I'm not that bothered about a secondary market on this platform as most of the loans are for comparatively short periods anyway.

loans for sale might move more quickly if part sales were allowed as with MT system helping buyers who do not want a 4 figure stake in a particular loan and releasing funds for sellers who like to keep moving to new loans.plus a little bit for kuflink off the seller for the admin and everybody happy.what do you reckon kuflink ?

Totally agree - it's a feature we will be adding at some point, although we're in the midst of lots of tech updates so I can't say exactly when. I'll update you when I can be more specific! Annie

Hi, just to say I have found the secondary market liquid and efficient. It offers a basic mechanism to liquidate should needs arise. I'm fortunate enough to buy in 500 chunks as a maximum so im sure this enhances the match to seller speed.
Thanks Kuflink

Hi keystoneI don't have a date as of yet, but in the meantime some of our investors are investing in chunks which essentially enables them to sell parts of their investment on the SM (i.e. investing £500 in a deal in 5 x £100 loan parts instead of one lump sum). Might be a tactic worth considering in the meantime although I know it doesn't help for existing investments!

Just in case you are slightly surprised that the Secondary market tab on the drop down menu has disappeared, it is now to be found under the Account collective drop down tab on the right under "Invest".
Click Invest and you now find the automatic investment, self select, FISA and the much loved secondary market tabs on the left.
Click the one you want and then click the button on the right to take you to that section.
Thank you to Lisa at Kuflink for the very quick answer to my enquiry about this earlier today.
I think a website overhaul is imminent but they have not got round to telling us.
Best wishes, SXLR.

Is there still no way to filter or sort the 142 loan parts currently available? I really can't be bothered to click on each one to see its end date...
