2017? Suspect they'd only recovered the garden centre at that point...one swallow does not make a summer And PBL007 care home & a boat. Ooh tough stuff (did they use the provision for one of them?)

It’s an interesting question as to why LY is still trading. One can only assume, as Jeepers said, that it’s to squeeze every last drop of blood from investors. LY’s business is damaged beyond repair and Liam doesn’t seem like the type of guy who would do anything for any reason other than his own personal gain. Since things started spiraling downwards, LY has done nothing to try to reverse the situation. I think Liam decided a long time ago that this is how things would play out and realised that there’s as much money to be made on the way down as there was on the way up.

All this talk of the demise of LY is very concerning, and whilst it’s informative, I’m not sure it’s very productive. If we’re all settled on the inevitable ending to this sorry tale, is there anything we can do to collectively expedite it so that there might at least be a crumb left at the end for us? It feels as though we may be fiddling while Rome burns. Would several hundred letters to the FCA help?

I'm not sure it's us investors that has brought the almost certain demise of Lendy, they've been trying their hardest for the best part of 2 years to sink the ship. Almost there.

Monetus - timing is quite similar to my own. Just checked and mine was at the beginning of January also. I got an almost immediate acknowledgement and then I got a holding letter at the start of Feb promising me a response within the 8 week deadline. But that was it. I chased also but still no response to my complaint.
I don't know what's going at LY HQ but it doesn't feel good to me. This is a basic compliance matter and is all set out in the FCA rulebook for authorised firms. LY are no longer complying.
I would have thought with the FCA already on their backs, LY must be in danger of being stripped of their accreditation and forced out of business - if they are still in it.
Perhaps the boss no longer cares.
Heard anything at all GeorgeT ? Over the past 10 days I have emailed customer service, written to the ask@lendy email address and also put in a support ticket and heard absolutely nothing. Did Lendy lay off the entire customer service department or has anyone else heard from them this week?

A Mr Robert Phelan appears to have joined Lendy as of March 2019 according to LinkedIn as an "Operations And Communiations Manager" (sic) so they might not be dead in the water just yet.  Not off to a great start on the communications front though with that spelling.  |
