Maybe just maybe the FCA has stopped them accepting any new money - and in Lendy fashion this is how they implement it? Has anybody tried depositing money in to Lendy recently to confirm this? Jesus H Christ!! Nobody is going to be brave enough to cough up to that one

Nobody is going to be brave enough to cough up to that one cwah did, over on the other thread... payment said to be held in limbo for the moment (not credited to Lendy account nor returned to originating bank account).
Perhaps a bigger concern is that all the borrowers who are desperate to repay us as soon as possible are presumably unable to do so due to these banking issues.

What frustrates me is that there is no mention of the FCA involvement on Lendy's website. Their announcement banner made it sound that it's a mere banking technical issue, nothing to worry about and it will all be sorted as soon as possible. I thought nothing off this at first because I can't withdraw any money anyway as there is nothing to withdraw and I have no intention of depositing money. Now I am really concerned because of what has been reported in the news article. Lendy are being purposely and blatantly deceptive.

Could it be possible that the FCA didn't immediately inform Lendy they were about to take this action (or the notification didn't reach the staff dealing with the technicalities of the banking interface), causing Lendy staff to initially assume it was a "banking problem".
More detailed announcements (e.g. blaming the FCA for the issues) would undoubtedly need to be run by legal departments first...

Has anyone managed to make any withdrawals since the FCA were involved? I have been waiting on some since 18th.... I believe a couple of people here claim to have made successful withdrawals over the past week. You're saying that no funds have been received on withdrawals you initiated on the 18th?

Correct. I have initiated 3 withdrawals on: 25/04/2019 24/04/2019 18/04/2019 Not a penny received so far... This is not good at all. We investors should be able to withdraw our funds from our Lendy accounts without requiring permission from the FCA. It's becoming farcical.

I think that Lendy and the FCA will need to get their story straight by tomorrow morning, otherwise they will be getting calls from people frustrated that they can't withdraw their monthly interest payment.

There is also the issue of PBL178 which was apparently sold at auction more than a month ago. Investors are still waiting to hear how much is to be repaid. The inertia has all the hallmarks of a business not anxious to provide a payout. I am in no doubt that when Lendy choses to inform investors that it is releasing the money that with all the various deductions/commissions etc that there will be precious little to cheer about. I am afraid that for me Lendy is not fit for purpose and the sooner it is good riddance the better. I really feel for those poor souls with substantial sums tied up. I do not think they will see much joy soon.
