I don't often swear but I think we may have reached the "oh " moment.

There is a report on Frank of a test deposit made on the 24th finally hitting someone's account just now.

"As many of you are already aware, we have experienced a number of issues connected to our banking systems and payment processes.
We have now resolved these issues, are working through the backlog and hope to complete all outstanding requests within the next 48 hours.
Kind regards, The Lendy Team"

Not a good idea unless someone skilled in such matters comes forward with a sound agenda for taking things forward. Otherwise a meeting or series of meetings could result in a lot of hot air but little progress. The committee presumably formed from such a meeting would have to seek some sort of authority from lenders to speak/act on behalf of all. Lendy would find it very easy to divide and rule as interests of all lenders are not aligned.

Not all lenders are needed for an action against Lendy, only a few who are passionate and share the same goal, and have the same [justified] grievances.

Normal practice (and possibly enforceable rules?) for P2P is that all lenders on a loan are required to be treated in a manner that's equivalent / pro-rata or similar.
As such any non-trivial decision agreed with such a committee would affect all lenders (either by the same decision being applied to them, or by being no longer treated equivalently to at least some other lenders with a similar stake).
e.g. suppose a committee of "want to withdraw all my money at any cost" lenders is formed, and Lendy agree to a course of action involving selling the security at a knock-down price that will result in them being paid off at 10p/£ which that particular committee is happy with...

Having logged on and had a tour of the site, I'm amazed to see some people are still funding some of the live loans. No wonder they've set up another company with this mentality. All the dross loans over the last 18 months yet there's still some willing to part with hard earned. Remarkable.

There seems to be similarities when comparing the behaviour of some of Lendy's clients with that of victims of domestic abuse.

Exactly 48 hours since I received an email saying: "We have now resolved these issues, are working through the backlog and hope to complete all outstanding requests within the next 48 hours'.
Has a single person here received any notification of a successful credit or withdrawal of funds to/from Lendy?
