Well, I thought 10% LTV including rolled up interest, was worth a punt.

Well, I thought 10% LTV including rolled up interest, was worth a punt. But I wonder why such a person needs to borrow money to buy a cow? Perhaps he'll then trade the cow for magic beans? LTV looks good and good luck.

LTV looks good and good luck. Why does anyone need to borrow money for anything? Just use your own money and never pay for credit again This is one I would probably have put a good chunk into but I only saw it a few minutes before it went live and am wary of the panic buy...

Just puzzles me why this borrower doesn’t go to a high street bank?

Got to be something to do with the herd instinct, so don't milk it.

Who on earth spends money buying cows and seeks finance? FS must be really desperate Why is it different to any other type of business loan? At least this one is to generate a new revenue stream while a lot of business loans are purely to get through the quarter.

I've always thought of farming as a fairly low margin activity which wouldn't give much margin for paying FS interest rates to invest so didn't like the look of this one.
That said the very attractive LTV on straightforward farmland should provide decent protection so I can see why plenty of people have disagreed with me and filled the loan quickly.

Desperate ? 8.8% LTV ?
The whole £115k was sold in under 5 minutes, very low LTV loans are always snapped up quickly, regardless of what the borrower is spending the money on.

There's a loan to a cow on Lendy that's proving rather problematic.

When was the last time you saw so many posters beefing up a Funding Secure loan.

Enough with the cow jokes. Time to moooove on. I’m in this loan and no it does not make the best sense to me but the security looks good.
