I'll take a look tomorrow, to see what's up.

There's a discrepancy between my headline accrued interest and the sum of accruals on my loan book. (The former is larger.) I suspect that this is due to outstanding interest from when I dipped my toe into the GEIA, but with a current balance of £0.00 there this doesn't seem to be made visible anywhere on the web site.

The plan is to move accrued interest off that table into its own one but that affects a fair bit of display code so isn't that quick a fix. Until that happens, can someone give it a manual poke once a morning, as the figures are getting quite screwed up -- some loans up to date, some 1 day behind, some 2 days behind as it selects a random bunch to stall on overnight?

It had been okay for 2 weeks after my last posting suggesting a manual daily poking They've been wrong every day starting Saturday -- I was hoping it would come back to correct, but it seems not. So now we again have loans a) up to date, b) 1 day off, c) 2 days off, d) one day ahead for no reason. A random selection of about 10% of loans are selected for non-updating. Additionally Spondon is cruising along interest free.

Same as #103 - the answer to that 0% was '....This a system error and has been referred to our developers to resolve....'

chris Can we have the manual accrued-interest-update-poking put back on please -- there are now loans with incorrect accrued interest of anything from 1 (various) to 6 days (Woodacott, Spondon), and this has been happening for over a week now.

I think Spondon is going to require more than a simple poke. That loan is now overdue, and the interest rate hasn't been changed to the default rate -- which AFAIK is 18%. Until that input to the system -- the new rate and its effective date -- is updated, that loan won't accrue any interest, no matter how hard the system is poked.

Same then as #103 B***** which has been showing at 0.00% for ages.

The accrued interest seems to have gone haywire today. For me it's showing my daily gain is six times what I would normally expect, about half of which is down to #125 C* W.T. not resetting when the interest was paid out. I assume there is at least one more like this. One of the big selling points of AC is that, under nearly all circumstances, you do get the interest showed as accrued. So, in my mind, it's really important to get this right. FC got it right from the start to the point at which they (at least used to) display total assets as including accrued interest. This is great, it makes you feel as though you are getting somewhere every day. I think AC should fix this and even display the (slightly cheaky) number - I think it would do everyone a lot of good.

'Current accrued interest' is one of the items that can be displayed at the top of the Dashboard page. I do that, and it is reassuring when it increases daily as expected. Similarly, it is depressing when it's calculated incorrectly, so it would be helpful, to say the least, if the amount shown was right.

I did mean #125 C*shire W.T. but I now see that it's been kicked and is okay now. #121 C*bria WT also looks fine to me at 11:45.

I assume there is at least one more like this. Sorry tonyr I wasn't correcting you. I was providing a suggestion for your assumption (in addition to the loan you mentioned). (Both loans now showing correctly for me.)
