... every time I hit "Bid" I get "502: Bad Gateway"
Pushed out of 3 auctions today and not able to join any more new ones. I can see someone's bidding, as the bids are hammering in ... anyone else seeing that?
(Just tried again, been broken all day).

Try the usual, flush all your caches .. Works OK for me (after agreeing the new t&cs). Try different browser or different machine to try to narrow it down. If that fails, ring FC !?! ?

Done that, logged in and out, restarted browser.
Not sure what more I can do as the error is coming from FC's webservers.
I have contacted FC, may be 2 working days for a reply. Usual drill.

Have you tried a different browser or a different device? Do you have a second account that you can try? I was recently unable to bid without refreshing the screen after each bid because the blue Bid button seemed to get glued down (ie stuck on pale blue) - switching browsers from Chrome solved that.

Other options .. Cycle the power on the PC, then, if that didn't work, cycle the power on your router, in case someone's DNS cache is borked.

Had the same stuck bid button problem twice earlier this week, I just rebooted the browser and it seemed to be ok. Been ok for the last couple of days. (Firefox)

There was a Java update recently IIRC, so it may not be FC's fault for a change (assuming you did the Java update). OTOH if you had to place bets ... 8>.
I've been seeing quite a few timeouts on bidding (not using the button), even when the site is not that busy (my definition of a timeout being if their server doesn't get back to me in 3 seconds of less .. that's about 2x the going rate .. weirdly, 'get a different loan page' (the old pages now, since the new ones are defunct) gets back to me faster than 'place a bid' does.

Thanks for the various tips, rebooting the router and firewall didn't clear it either. "Cycle Power On the PC", how very dare you! 20:03:24 up 245 days, 23:57, 16 users ....
I wouldn't want to spoil a nice uptime like that! I discovered (my part of) the problem. I got a dodgy cookie from FC. Clearing cache, restarting browser, logging in and out -- all no go. Doing that AND wiping cookies before going back in, that cleared it. I then got offered the "The government are lending through FC, click here to agree" nag box (how old is that!), and the "Oh we've changed T&C, agree before bidding" that I suspect sparked this off. And lost all the settings for how to sort/display stuff (quickly put back).

If these are FC settings, I should be interested to know where they are but perhaps they are something that you have added using, for example, Java? It would save me time to know how to avoid having to re-input my selection conditions each time that I visit the loan parts page.

Iirc, You can write a shortcut which goes there with a few sort params in the URL, but if you want lots it won't fit. Let me know if you want me to post a sample .. Or tell me what your preference is..

I have to restart at least monthly to clear out all the orphan handles and memory leaks. As to cookies, yeah, that can happen, but normally a different browser will not have the same problems. Anyway, glad you sorted it.

FC seems to store the settings for sorts/views in one or more cookies. The loan parts buying page forgets most times, it eventually forgets if it's just left open long enough. That's a bit of a blank spot.
