#140 W*** G**** - Q&A Expected to repay today - maybe Is the pig considering the possibility of de-nesting anytime soon? Seems to be quite comfy at the moment. Bit windy around here so would properly follow his famous inflatable predecessor & get blown out to sea. I did consider posting a pic of some string & a tape measure.

Guess it will be tomorrow, for, as that great financial sage, orphan Annie would say, ‘the loan will pay out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow they'll be cash... #95 LLF3 - interest payment received but will not be allocated until next working day which is Tuesday, so we lose 5 days interest on the money if reinvested.  Anybody else think this is out of order? Ive asked for an explanation |

Nice to see you've found new meaning for your life in interpreting and commenting on any updates.  I'm not too bothered by losing 5 days interest on a repayment, the loss amounts to almost exactly a grain of salt in a bag of peanuts for me. Even on my much larger holding in 85 (t2) it would have amounted to about 0.5 BOP (using the new scale of amount of money relative to a bag of peanuts). edit: the loss of a days interest on all repayments going forward might be slightly more significant, but won't hinder me investing through AC. |

Ive asked for an explanation Anyone can see that this is another improvement in the platform performance fully explained on Q & A, viz. "This is now a process that sees borrower payments allocated the following day as part of the daily banking upload". (...rather than the same day; who decided that same day was not good enough?) Well, it's much better that we wait for our payments; we don't want to get too excited when people pay on time. 'Good thing the system doesn't "pause loans for late payment" as a result of this upgrade in performance........ does it? ....... oh, sorry .... I thought today was 1st April ..

The same is happening with today's #68 CC interest drip-feed. Actually it's helpful for me as it's pushing income into the next tax year, where I've been a little too close to the wire in minimising my 60% tax rate. Good new though with #140 having finally redeemed. It was 50% chance last Friday, 90% this Monday, that makes it -40% on any other day. ilmoro 's pig needs to be redirected. |
