No idea what AC are doing with the Worcester loan. Seem to have paid all the interest except Jan and no principle which is the bit that should be paid first so we can reinvest. If there is a convoluted way of doing something AC always seem to find it. . Meanwhile Essex is about to partially repay and looks likely to repay the rest shortly. On Worcester, there is a bit of interest still outstanding -- It matters not that it says "this has been repaid in full" in green print. It hasn't . I notice that you and others also asked about this on the loan's Q&A. Naughty you. And me too. Can't go asking questions specific to the loan like that, it's not the correct channel, apparently. Should be kept in private. Oddly both of us must have missed the update in the activity section, dated 26th April, which explains that the principal and interest cannot be paid, because of the usual "IT Issue" that covers whatever has gone wrong. I am 100% convinced that update was NOT there on 27th April (a.m.) when I posted the Q&A. The activity page was the first thing I checked when it was clear the sums did not add up. You must've missed it too? Not that the "update" explains why the holding HAS been paid, and yet part of the interest withheld (18th January interest payment never made?)

Everything appears to have been corrected, I received my missing interest today and the repayment shows no missing payments. I'm happy, hope everyone else is.

I only asked for £260 and that is what I got. Didn't feel that inclined to divert too much to a 7% Pub loan although the LTV was attractive

It's a fine brewery, but I agree, 7% is generous to the borrower. I put no buy order in but took a bit of the leftovers because I like their beer (and their pubs!).

Loan 158 Update 22nd May.
"Further to previous updates we can confirm that funds to fully redeem the loan were received on Friday 19 May 2017. Monies will be transferred to lenders' accounts as soon as possible."
Looks as if AC are going to try backdating the loan repayment date to Friday 19th. My accrued interest has just gone backwards, but still no repayment. This behaviour wouldn't happen on any other P2P site I use.
If Assetz Capital can't repay promptly, then we should continue to get paid interest.

I agree it has now been paid, but it was "resolved" by -- as sqh correctly pointed out -- back dating the interest to 19th, thereby removing 3-4 days of interest to lenders accrued over the last few days.
My accrued interest due went backwards when this recalculation was performed. It's not the first time, either, I just don't bother reporting it any more.
Interesting use of "resolved"

I would like to see AC pay some attention to improving their process for loan redemptions. It should be standard to credit funds to lenders on the same day as received. Can't remember which loan it was but not long ago, I bought a great chunk of a loan of which I'd previously had only a nominal portion, only to see an update go up later that the loan had already been repaid two or three days before my purchase. I was then stuck in the loan for a further period before my funds came back.

My apologies. andrewholgate I'm sorry but I cannot accept your apology until the missing interest is paid. Four days interest lost and repayment made at 15:00 hours. That's just in time to miss the cut-off time for a bank withdrawal the next day. That means 6 days to get your money out after a loan repays. It's not the first time repayments have been late, but it's now become unacceptable.
