I've just dug out the request email that I got 10/10/19 "The verification team will not be able to provide confirmation of receipt or timescales for documents being processed, so please allow 21 days for your documentation to be processed from the date of receipt at our offices, before raising an enquiry. We will send you an email confirming when your documentation has been processed and your account verified. If it is not possible for us to verify your documentation, we will be unable to release any available funds until your account is confirmed as verified."
So they are not even saying Docs will be processed in the 21days after receipt, just "don't bother us with enquiries for 21 days after receipt"

I think I posted mine in on the 10th Oct the same day as I got the request. No record of credit searches on Credit Karma (was Noddle) Post office confirmation says "Your item was delivered on **14-10-2019**. Signed for by: MCM**** Service used: Royal Mail Signed Forâ„¢ Delivered: 8:27am So they have had it 2 full weeks now and still nothing heard back. LW My dates were the same. Signed for at 8:25am (by "McMahon") - so I assume the receptionist or post room staff. That 2 minute gap - how many did she/he have to sign? So if we have heard nothing by Monday 4 Nov - that is their 21 days up!

For those who have had to send documentation, did you provide a covering letter, or just send off the copied documents?
As an aside, while I'm trying to refrain from making any assumptions about the necessity of this process and the motivations behind it, as frankly I do not know anything about AML checks, I do find this to be quite insane. By e-mail I receive a request from a company I have no foreknowledge of, nor relationship with, for a copy of my passport and a bank statement, with essentially no explanation of why it's required or why the latter must be un-redacted. It's strange and it's rude.

I wrote a basic cover letter just saying please find enclosed the following documents as requested. Probably not necessary since it's addressed to the "AML verification team" that should be expecting the documents anyway, but doesn't hurt. Edit: also wrote my email address there so they know which account it's for.

It was signed for at 8.27am on Oct 16.

Do we know of anyone receiving an email to say that they have now passed the AML checks, after initialling being requested to provide more information?

Do we know of anyone receiving an email to say that they have now passed the AML checks, after initialling being requested to provide more information? I would hope that rather that writing individual emails, when they enable the withdrawal facility they'll do two bulk emails:
- one to everyone for whom the withdrawal facility is now available to let them know this [and that this means they passed the relevant checks], and ask them to promptly withdraw funds to their bank.
- one to everyone for whom the withdrawal facility remains blocked, to let them know what they need to do next.
Alternatively they might combine both into a single email, saying that the withdrawal facility is now available for those who passed the AML checks, but if they're still waiting for documents this will be indicated on the withdrawal page, so either way please log on and try to withdraw the funds...

I can't, Lendy disabled the button for me due to AML verification checks. Sorry, I cannot comment. I did not try to withdraw until 20 minutes ago. So I have no idea if mine was disabled before today. The whole process is just crazy and stressful!
