Is the AC change log only intended to record changes to the UI? If not why haven't all the other changes/fixes been logged?

Is the AC change log only intended to record changes to the UI? If not why haven't all the other changes/fixes been logged? We intend to use it to document updates and changes rather than every last tweak or fix. In general the latter are discussed in the threads relevant to them and if included then we feel it could end up swamping the thread with useless information. Do you guys care if we complete a ticket that changes the margin size on all buttons by 1 pixel to fix a rendering bug in a certain browser on a certain PC? So it's a guide rather than exhaustive with the individual developers using their discretion.

I think that the suggestion was that there seemed to have been some more significant changes such as sales staying within MLIA and Green Accounts fully deploying the cash, but no post.

The suggestion was and has been effectively confirmed by Chris' response, that AC are happy to log and make obvious the visual but for most part superfluous changes to the UI because it makes them look good and responsive to lender requests, but would prefer to hide the fundamental flaws in the platform by keeping them buried in threads or not even acknowledging them publicly to the degree that they themselves have forgotten issues and needed reminding what they were because ifthey listed them is one place it would highlight just how bad the upgrade and the launch of the Green Account has been and how many of the flaws existed prior to the upgrade and continued to exist after it..

I've not shied away from discussing issues where they have occurred, and I've maintained a very high presence on this forum throughout responding as best I can to posts and private messages. With the other platforms you probably don't even know which develop their sites in house and which outsource, let alone can name their technical director or any of their developers. We have engaged at a far more technical level than any other site. No other platform even maintains a change log at all on this forum yet here we are being aggressively criticised for what we do and do not publish on ours, despite it being a relatively new addition. There are no fundamental flaws in the platform. There have been a handful of actual issues with the new site, and a handful with the new loan model which was actually a separate release, and a lot of opinion and preference about how things should work. All the genuine issues have been fully rectified now as far as I'm aware, subject to my previous caveat that Mark Wardrop is now collating communication from lenders so there may be something that I have yet to be told about. I have apologised for the launch and any inconvenience caused, and I'm in the process of implementing steps to ensure that it doesn't happen again with future releases, but it bears repeating that no lender has lost any money.

I can name the technical director on the rival site most like AC because he is strangely rude to his customers on their own forum. As a consequence instead of doubling my investment with them in 2014 as I intended, I have instead halved it. I don't think any of your recent changes are fundamental, but if you have a change log we need to understand what it will and won't include. I was slightly caught out by sales proceeds remaining within the MLIA, and I am keeping a close eye on this forum. I don't have a problem that you changed it, I would have liked to know. Over the last 3 months my investment with AC has increased, and will increase further over the next six months, subject to your continued interaction with your customers, more good loans, and (in my opinion) satisfactory dealings with the problem loans. I do think that you should stick to dates you promise, even if means you add a couple of days when you promise to respond. I am pleased to hear that you think all the significant issues have bean rectified.

A new release went live this morning with the following changes: - Lists of loans such a "Browse Loans" now remember state. So per page, current page, sort order and quick search criteria are retained when clicking "back" from viewing a loan or similar.
Is there a plan to extend this improvement to work consistently on occasions when the user simply refreshes the Browse Loans page? I find it a pain whenever I refresh this list and find I have to go to the top and change the number of entries to show on the page from 50 back to 100. It doesn't happen all the time, and I haven't been able to work out when it does and when it doesn't. And I can't say whether it's losing track of only the number of entries or the sort order as well, since I've gotten used to seeing the loans in the default descending loan number order so I don't often change that. Has anyone else observed this behaviour? Or is it just me and the particular way I'm using the website?

I'll try and re-create as this is the first report of this issue. Thanks.

Seems to be normal practise though with most web sites. Using Waterfox 64bit but same with Firefox

I'll try and re-create as this is the first report of this issue. Thanks. Colin: I'm using Firefox 34.0.5 under 64-bit Window 7 Pro. I've been trying to watch a bit more closely to see when it happens and when it doesn't. I don't have anything definite I can say, but I operate with multiple AC tabs, with the Browse Loans list on one tab and other pages on other tabs (Dashboard, Statement, etc.), and the times I've noticed it happening seem to be when I've been away from the Browse Loans tab for a while and then come back to it and refresh. If I refresh again within a few minutes, it remembers the 100/page setting, but if I leave the tab for a while and then come back it forgets -- some of the time. I don't whether its forgetting is a function of how long I have left it, or what else I've done on other tabs in the interim, or anything else.

Colin, the Kiddy repayment appears to have been allocated to January rather than December. Is this why the " Investment Paused" message is still showing on the loan?

A new release went live this morning which adds a "Last Updated" column to loan lists. This column is populated with the most recent date from either "Recent Activity", "Documents", "Q&A" and "Drawdown" steps. There is Q&A for #146 this morning but the "Last Updated" timestamp is showing 02/04/2015 14:30:46. Colin is there a problem?

I suspect they may have taken Q's out of the algorithm for triggering an update entry (in response to comments on the forums). Ive added one to #68 which also hasnt changed 'last update' to 7th. Edit: Moved, as went to AC only thread by mistake

I suspect they may have taken Q's out of the algorithim for triggering an update entry (in response to comments on the forums). Ive added one to #68 which also hasnt changed 'last update' to 7th. #146 has an answer from 09:18 this morning as well as a subsequent question. So it's broke. I agree with the (subsequent) comments that there is often value in the questions themselves, so my preference is to know when a loan has has any kind of update whatsoever.
