It's very hard to separate the pandemic from Ukraine and Truss when it comes to the cost of living saga. The social element of the socio-economic cost included closing schools for long periods - that's not Ukraine or Truss. Let's also remember the big socio-economic (and environmental) benefit of lockdown. It's finally taught us that, yes, we can work from home and don't need to schlep en masse into offices to sit in front of a laptop, or across the country/continent for meetings. You didn't even need to look at a different page or different thread, you idle muppet...
