What happens when we get to £75k, where did this figure come from. Was it a figure given by the Lawyers? Should we continue funding to a £100k target? I suspect a lawyer's target, and I suspect they have done so on the understanding that it will be the totality of available funds. So probably only need £40k and will just spaf the rest up the wall making a good show of it.

A similar discussion was raised earlier in this thread and the following FIRST comment by Paul123 (who started this thread), was quoted; There is no minimum to contribute and yes, if we fail to raise £25k all funds will be returned. If we exceed £25k then we will proceed. We can't release details but we will focus on things like: A. Reversing the waterfall B. Possibly challenging the IP/conflict admin process for SSSH C. Causing RSM to remove all conflicted parties from the process D. Getting complete status as creditors E. Anything else possible. What we can do is based on how much money we can raise.I hope that provides a sufficient explanation, in that the MORE money that can be raised, the MORE that can be done.

Just after 7pm on Thursday.
8 days to go, £68,707 pledged of the £75,000 stretched target, from 1,356 pledges.
Now at 91.61% of the way, to the TARGET.
A further £6,293 needed to reach the GOAL.
This equates to requiring approximately, an average donation rate of £786.63 per day, over the next 8 days, to get to the £75,000 OBJECTIVE.
Recent pledges & comments on the LENDY ACTION GROUP LEGAL FUND Crowd Justice page;
Anthony pledged £75 2nd pledge to match the first, worth every penny to fight for justice and the chance for more back in the end, come on non-pledgers what are you waiting for?
Someone pledged £125 My THIRD pledge. Same amount as my first pledge and my second pledge. AGAIN, as the good book states; "VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY," says the Lord’.
Eric pledged £25 My 5th donation. Lendy have badly tarnished the image of peer-to-peer. Let's get some justice. The funds being recovered belong to THE INDIVIDUAL LENDERS - not to the greedy, incompetent and negligent directors who misled us. PLEASE pledge more if you can!
Roger pledged £35 Good luck it getting the buggers!
malcolm pledged £50 2nd pledge we can`t afford not too / stick it to the man At Lendy we recognise the importance of being responsible corporate citizens, and take responsibility for the direct and indirect impact of our activities
Bob pledged £150 My elderly Aunt invested £120 000 to help fund her care in a nursing home. Why should she now be responsible to fund lend directors.
Eric pledged £105 Match Eric's pledge of £105 My 4th pledge. Lendy treated us BADLY - misleading us - behaving unethically and negligently (and potentially fraudulently). Don't let them evade justice. DONATE TODAY! If you do, there's a good chance we'll ALL get extra money back in the recovery process due to LAG's commendable efforts.
Carlos pledged £10 My 3rd contribution and 4X the amount recommended. Thanks to all at LAG and to all who have contributed. Sitting on the sidelines doing nothing isn't an option
Phil pledged £100 Another donation beyond what was asked for. Come on folks, dig deep and give Lisa the financial backing she needs to clear out the nest of rats eating our savings.
Eric pledged £50 This is my third pledge. I want to see justice done! I encourage everyone to donate a bit (or a bit more) - even if you have little or nothing invested with Lendy...

Fight people, FIGHT!It really is as simple as that. Or just roll over, whimper, and let the triumph whilst they Roger you senseless. Come on people!Let's get the pledge to the target!Let's giv 'em a lesson of morality to all these rent seekers and crooks naughty boys! It's humbling to see many folks here making contributions even without having material funds to recover, just because they have family or friends stuck in this mess or they just have an elevated sense of justice. Thank you to all of them. Anthony pledged £75 (Recent pledge & comment on the LENDY ACTION GROUP LEGAL FUND Crowd Justice page) "2nd pledge to match the first, worth every penny to fight for justice and the chance for more back in the end, come on non-pledgers what are you waiting for?" Will contribute again today. Making x12 what I have been asked for. I would ask all participants of this board whether they have any involvement with Lendy or not to put something into the pot no matter how small. Collectively the gap doable! We obviously cannot rely on the FCA to police the sector. We all know that now. We have all seen or heard of various bad things in the P2P sector. Things we don't like. Things we think are unfair. This is an opportunity to start fighting back that could easily have wider implications and precedents for other situations that you might be involved in. Its easy to think about these things in abstract and expect others to make it happen . But 'we are they' so please pitch in a few quid (or a few quid extra) and help see this over the line. Please ................

Its a fair point but I just think that this initiative is so close to the sum requested that it is worth a little extra push right now. We could open various fronts and diffuse the effort and get none over the line and underway.

Just after 7pm on Friday.
7 days to go, £69,103 pledged of the £75,000 stretched target, from 1,366 pledges.
Now at 92.14% of the way, to the TARGET.
A further £5,897 needed to reach the GOAL.
This equates to requiring approximately, an average donation rate of £842.49 per day, over the next 7 days, to get to the £75,000 OBJECTIVE.
Previous pledges & comments on the LENDY ACTION GROUP LEGAL FUND Crowd Justice page;
Colin pledged £25 3rd pledge - think we all need to agree to get this over the line OR Lendy WIN = Crooks WIN
Someone pledged £140 Come on people, this is likely the best investment you will ever make. If we let these people do as they plan they will give our money to anyone other than us! Our chances are very good because the current waterfall is clearly morally disgraceful and engineered to be so by Lendy! FIGHT!
Andrew pledged £200 I was due to be paid £10k by Lendy Wealth on 2 April 2019 (after waiting 60 days) - unknown to me the regulating authorities made them deposit this money (together with £11m of other 'due payouts' in a special account). That £11m was intact when Lendy later went bust, but I have not seen a penny!
Joe pledged £5 I would give more if I could, but I am disabled and was foolish enough to put my life savings into lendy as they completely underplayed the risk. I've come to terms with having lost everything and am now just taking everything day by day. Lost my freedom as I couldn't afford to run a car anymore.
Julian pledged £100 PLEDGE 2 - DOUBLED UP Come on everyone, please double up and this will get us over the line. We really have a strong case and not sure why the Administrators have treated this way as they don't gain only Lendy's other creditors and management will.
Someone pledged £25 We must not let those who got us into this loss making position, benefit from their incompetance
Harry pledged £50 Had to wait until my pension came through, I had all my savings in lendy, hope this helps
Suzanne pledged £40 Further donation... failing to reach £75k is NOT an option!
Chris pledged £50 An additional donation to help us get to our target. We must get justice and be reunited with what is rightfully ours!!
Carlos pledged £20 My 2nd payment. The more I learn of RSM, the less confidence I have in them.

Suppose we don't reach £75k - what happens then? Can we not use the £70+k we'll have raised?
If things go well, if we can see we need more cash, can we not continue to top up the fund at a later date?

If things go well, if we can see we need more cash, can we not continue to top up the fund at a later date? I think this question is answered on the first post of the thread, basically there's a set of priorities which will be worked through with whatever money is raised. It's my understanding that there may well be ongoing efforts to raise money as sadly our persecutors have many things for which they may need to be legally spanked.

If things go well, if we can see we need more cash, can we not continue to top up the fund at a later date? I'm not really adept as a Facebook person and can rarely find a topic I recall seeing previously but I had a look a week or so ago. There was the question raised by the organiser as to whether the funding should cease when the day counter ran down to zero, be left open to see if it could eventually get over the line, or even if it did, remain open longer on the assumption that all further funds would be of use. I think they were planning on taking a vote on it. I expect that if it gets pretty close by the due date, a flurry of activity may kick it over the line, but it has slowed down significantly now. There are probably many who might have pledged but haven't had the faintest idea that anything is going on. It was only random chance that brought it to my attention.

So yes now its over £25k it can be used (and a I recall solicitors started some work once that milestone was reached.
