so 5% is close enough to 6.3% that I end up with 5% anyway? But if I try 20% that's too different to what is being offered so it waits? No. In your example of trying to buy at 5% discount, 6.3% matches/exceeds what you asked for so is matched. If you'd tried to buy at 20% discount, 6.3% clearly doesn't satisfy/exceed your request so you'd have to wait. It's not based on closeness, but on whether it matches.
The money at 6.3% discount appears to have all gone, the best discount available now for instant buy is 6.1%. I filled in a request (which I didn't execute) to purchase £100 at 5% discount (or better) and the system responded with "At present, based on current withdrawal instructions, you could immediately invest £100.00 at a discount of 6.10% and receive £106.49 of loan holdings" (£106.49 is £100/(1-0.061))
When it's available for an instant match, you get the best offer that meets/exceeds your request.
Thanks.

Why is it you have to cancel existing withdrawal requests before you can invest any new back in to the access accounts, surely the queue would move faster if new investing was allowed

Loan #864 has repaid £781K Sadly, another no nonsense loan disappearing from my MLA, with no obvious candidates to replace it

Loan #864 has repaid £781K Sadly, another no nonsense loan disappearing from my MLA, with no obvious candidates to replace it Fortunately, there are still quite a few safe short to medium term opportunities with a decent level of return and reasonable LTV's. e.g.
1195 Llanf****g Rhos****r Limited 8% 54% LTV
612 M*rik*l Ltd - 9% 63% LTV
... or maybe just re-investing the proceeds in the same loan.

I've pretty strict criteria for MLA which have served me well over the last few years. #1195 doesn't met those and #615 I exit'd last year when they were late with payments, failed refinancing, loan extension, etc. Reinvesting back into the diminishing pool of decent loans is about it at the moment; but then there's increased risk of having too much in any one loan if it gets suspended.

615 M*rik*l Ltd - 9% 63% LTV, looking even safer after the new update today, only problem is, it will most probably repay in full in less than a month or two.

Why is it you have to cancel existing withdrawal requests before you can invest any new back in to the access accounts, surely the queue would move faster if new investing was allowed It's more fine-grained than that - you only need to cancel existing withdrawal requests before you can invest directly via the marketplace into the exact same account.
In particular, if you've got "marketplace instructions" (time-served withdrawals) from the 30DAA, you can still invest fresh funds via the marketplace into the QAA, and you can still immediately transfer funds already invested in the QAA into the 30DAA.
That's slightly more palaver than simply investing fresh funds directly into the 30DAA, but perfectly manageable.

Loan #864 has repaid £781K Sadly, another no nonsense loan disappearing from my MLA, with no obvious candidates to replace it The one thing that strikes me about AC is how overvalued ‘simple’property valuations are. Looking at a recent update on loan #336 - flats in London have achieved approx 70% of their valuations (and the markets not that weak) meaning overall LTV was circa 100% - it’s a common theme and one that leads one to question wether valuations were engineered!!! For that reason and a plethora of others, I’d never trust AC again. You want good ML opportunities go to BridgeCrowd where in time it’s easy to find many first charge loans with LTVs < 50% with returns between 8 & 10% .... oh and they’ve never had a non redemption of capital !!!

Overnight there was a payout of £6.63 per £10K in each AA I notice that the redemption funds for loan 902 are yet to credited to the QAA's, which represent £70 per £10k. Be interesting to see how much of that will actually make it back as available cash. edit: best discount 5.3% at present - <thumbs up>

I think we're still going into recession, I think it's best to wait til green shoots are soon to appear or are appearing, though there might be the odd loan worth investing in (MLA) or could go into the AA
Maybe in 6mnth time
